      Had one for 2months and love it..the belt is great no noise..but its a bike for bike enthusiasts not for fat ppl who likes to push a button to go

      I have a Raleigh Back Alley single speed steel frame bike and a Haro Mary SS (Single Speed) 29" mountain bike. Love, love, love them both. This bike has my interest.

    One of the, if not the, best review i've seen so far for the cgo600 pro. This deserves more views!

    Honestly hills arent a probelm for this bike i can easily get over hills without standing. I have the non pro version. Love the design and its a great commuter for shorter distances. Only minus i have is the seat and that is easily replaced 20€.

    The most important attribute of this bike is that it has tall sizes!!!!!!! M, L, XL ebike

    If you don't want to have to stand while doing the hill test, first make sure your saddle hight is properly set. It seems way too low in the video.

      11:45 You're right. His leg is not extended enough, the seat needs to be higher.

    Love the very clear review, even for a potential EU buyer. Just smile once in a while 😊 Are mudguards easy to remove?

    I wonder why the weight you have is different from what’s advertised on their website?

    • @adriankatava6662
      @adriankatava6662 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Could be depending on the size of the bike, M, L, XL

    • @danhall3450
      @danhall3450 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Also depends on whether the weight is measured with the the battery installed or not. Makes about 4-5 lbs difference.

    Do you think this Bike would be good for San Francisco, commuting around, given all the hills? also, since it's single gear, when you are going fast, do your feet have to spin really really fast, since you can't changes gears (like having 7). If you don't think this is a good bike for San Francisco, can you please recommend a somewhat affordable bike for SF? Thanks!

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You'll likely find SF hills pretty difficult with this bike; something with a 750W rear hub or 500W mid-drive would be better suited to that environment. What's your budget and preferred style of bike? But with a single-speed drivetrain, bikes typically have a larger chainring so you don't have to spin really fast - just not so large to make getting started impossible.

      @jankowja 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ElectricBikeReport I’’d say my budget is up to $1500. I like the straight handle bar bike style, not not a cruiser when you’re kind of sitting back. I like the feel of a mountain bike, but i think it’s better to have 700c size tires/rims

      @rjbowlin 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m a novice and I don’t understand why it is they wouldn’t go with a minimum of a 500 W Hub Dr.. They offer a much more expensive version with one. But 500 W motors are not that much more expensive. my only guess is that the extra torque would be especially hard on the belt drive. So that also would need an upgrade.

    How tall are you? I'm 1.78m / 5'10" and wonder if getting the medium is a better choice than large. I'm kind of in between sizes, and i can't really test drive the bike where I live.

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      John here, I'm 5'11". By Tenways sizing, you're in the range for the Large and I'd say having more room for leg extension is important on a single-speed bike. I personally like the way smaller bikes handle but if I can't pedal them effectively that doesn't matter much!

    • @raziel0729
      @raziel0729 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ElectricBikeReport Thanks for your response. However, i just checked their website and it says that size M is "for riders between - 165 ~ 180 cm (5'5" ~ 5'11")", and size L for riders between 180 ~ 195 cm (5'11" ~ 6'5")". You're saying get the L, they're saying get the M. Now i'm super confused :(

    Id be curious to know how this compares to the aventon soltera 2. Any experience? Anyone?

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  ปีที่แล้ว

      Our video is still in the works, but we just finished reviewing the Soltera.2. They're similar in power, but the Soltera.2 has a 7-speed drivetrain instead of a single-speed, so there's a pretty big difference in feel. We liked both quite a bit, but it all depends on what suits you better!

      It's all relative. Some bikes can zip you up hills no problem. Some people want a bike they can pedal, but just want help. This is the second type.

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Flats and small to moderate hills. It's a pedal-friendly bike.
