    I like the soft, silky moisture of the cake mixture in comparison to other videos I've watched they use buttercream which is my favourite but the cake mixture looks dry and not quite appealing in looks. This idea of making the cake mixture for cakesicles is the perfect method . I'll be using this method in future xx

    I love all of your videos!! If the cake is frozen when it is dipped, how do you avoid cracking the chocolate coating?

    • @CupcakeSavvysKitchen
      @CupcakeSavvysKitchen  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The addition of the oil helps prevent cracking. It makes the chocolate a bit more flexible.

    Do you have to add cream to the chocolate and also can you use normal chocolate for the coating or does it have to be chocolate melts?

    • @CupcakeSavvysKitchen
      @CupcakeSavvysKitchen  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you don't add cream, the filling will set solid...so it depends in what you would like. Yes, you can use normal chocolate but it will need to be tempered.

    Should we wait until the chocolate coating is in room temp or dip as soon as it's taken from the stove

  • @despinagatzas7030
    @despinagatzas7030 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thank you for the lovely tutorial. Could you please tell me why you added oil to chocolate? I usually just do the straight melted chocolate dip. :-)

    • @CupcakeSavvysKitchen
      @CupcakeSavvysKitchen  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The oil thins out the chocolate to help give a thin smooth coat on the pop. Also it helps prevent the chocolate coating from cracking.

    • @CupcakeSavvysKitchen

      The pops are frozen when you dip them in chocolate but you can let them thaw after that so they will be soft when you serve them.
