    You're a life-saver man. Both of my front door stops in my Sedan were worn to the end - It's getting annoying, so the fact that I found a channel that can help me bring my grandpa's old Fabia back to shape is such a relief. The heater blower is getting on my nerves, and I can't wait to get it to quiet down

      I will look into this for you. Do they still work the lights? The indicator switch arm can clogg with dirt - clean with electrical contact spray with power off. Check relay under driver wheel well - does it click? check all contacts/lamps.

    Hi I have been watching your videos and they have really helped me out with my Skoda Fabia 06 1.4.
    And I wonder, so you have any simple trick to get all the cables through the rubber thing (from Sweden and don't know the english name) between the door and car. My Windows didn't work so I had to fix the cables that was broken, after many cursing I did get the cables back. But there must be an easier way, any thoughts???

    • @HatBoyHarvey
      @HatBoyHarvey  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Me too! This seems to be a fiddly job, I tried inserting one at a time, but that didn't work and was actually harder. If I ever find an easy way I will do a video on it :-)

    • @sandramartinsson9861
      @sandramartinsson9861 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My thinking was to put a pipe through the rubberthing and put the cables through that and when the cables are through remove the pipe or use cable ties to make the rubber shorter. I will try these next time I have to take them away. My friend said I could use soapwater or silicone spray too.

    Hi I followed your video on how to fit the door arresters but when I done it the door wouldn’t close. Any ideas? Thank you

    • @HatBoyHarvey
      @HatBoyHarvey  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are the new ones new? or have you just stiffened up the old ones, if so then you need to slacken them off a bit. If new they should just work if you installed them as I have done. As you can see in the video I didn't fit new ones so I don't have experience of them, maybe they just need a stronger initial push, but don't force the door if they don't budge. Check the fitting is correct again, is there some kind of lock on them?

    • @lavenderbulb6902
      @lavenderbulb6902 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can you please share if you know how to remove radio without of keys on fabia if it is posible and how to fix radio witch is playing only one radio station and losing sound on both speakers or at all sound but when is pressed with hand insade cabin it plays it normaly

    • @HatBoyHarvey
      @HatBoyHarvey  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need the keys to remove the radio or something metal 2x5x100mm. It sounds your aerial maybe loose on back of radio or by the connection to aerial on roof. The rear connection to radio may also be loose, which could be why your speakers don't work, if not then look at connections to all speakers within the doors. Hope this helps :-)

      @HatBoyHarvey i ordered new one for front but in the back I want to switch left for right because it turns out side doesn't matter and those door stops are quite expensive. Front is cheaper than rear so i bought it. Also it will be faster to change because you need only work on one side. But I was wondering how this is installed in the back. Hope it's in the car not in the doors. Much simpler to remove side panels than door panel.
