Its interesting and fascinating how the laws from canada to usa differ. My mother sponsored my grandparents in the 80s. It took 10 yrs and they were in their home country while waiting for their permanent residence. Thanks for sharing. You're right very lucky to get it in 4 years.

Yeah, it is so much harder to get a US permanent residency! We got so lucky with the lottery system
