I finally got my copy of this game delivered and played through the tutorial. I can tell just from that scenario that I will really enjoy this game. I kinda knew I would since I already enjoy MoM. I can’t wait to finish this story.
Nice playthrough, thank you for that ! :) Great that you know are represented as vicious wild food source.. Think you are supposed to draw labyrinth tiles blindly, as in draw from the bottom of the deck, or else it wouldnt really be a labyrinth ?
Hmm, this is a terrible advertisement for this game. You guys lost horribly, and can't point to anything you did wrong. Ouch. I'm certainly not in the market for another Ghost Stories.
We can point at what we did - We should have upgraded our characters more / should have drawn up more spell cards early on / should have not spread out as much allowing ourselves to get weak. We could have worked as a team - however, like most coop games - Jan and I don't seem to be good at that. I have gameplay with BGco showing off the intro scenario that goes better XD
@Qüackalope - Español / Spanish No I was not saying that I knew what went wrong. I was saying that I am disappointed the game is so ruthless and difficult. I am play games to enjoy, not to get frustrated with difficulties ;) edit: how late is this scenario? how upgraded should you have been?
I’ll chime in here and let y’all know that so far the difficulty of this scenario (and all other scenarios) are very balanced. It always feels like you are on the edge of destruction and success. You can make bad decisions (like scouting too much and revealing tons of minions). With that said, jumping into this scenario without the powering up and the base camp upgrades would be like playing this on “super hard mode”.
If they don't call the "introduction" to this sidequest "Intro-duck-tion it's a missed opportunity

That’s fair - we didn’t try to pay much attention to them but we likely looked more than we should of. Granted - we were doing quite bad xD

This game looks great thematically, but I'm really concerned about the balance and difficulty level.
I have 3 other gameplays where we did well - Jan and I just happened to be crushed in this one.
@@Quackalope Do you think that if you played this scenario again, you could beat it? In the video, it looks like the game gave you no chance to win.

We might have needed some additional upgrades - this is a side story into chapter 2 . . . So the balance might be a touch off.
I think the scenario needs to be tweaked. For one thing, the minion movement seems a little high for the limited space available.

It was early in the morning and we had restarted the gameplay due to our own mistake the first time. This time we were focused on winning . . . XD
