Tbh when i used to live in Bangladesh id go to my grandparents house just for the goats id always pet them and play with them, its very much a memory and now i miss those days, since i live in USA now
we miss our fainting goats :) they were hiiarious!! but hard headed and was stuck in the fence on the daily. Why? Becasue they always thought the grass or (weeds) were munchier on the other side I suppose.... LOL
I started with one female goat, and had her bred with a buck. She gave birth to a female, and they both got along fine with my dogs. Goats are very social critters.
@@feelingsaregood they really do better with a goat pal. They can get by with sharing their enclosure with sheep, chickens or the like but it’s not ideal for them. I wouldn’t do it. And we can put this to rest: goats don’t make good indoor pets. 😉
No, mini goat is known as Pygmy goat. And adult pygmy goats can grow around 50 to 70 pounds and are 16 to 23 inches tall. In terms of exceptional cases, they can weigh around 120 to 150 pounds!
@@petopedia_first off Pygmy goats are not mini goats they're just goats That happened to be a little shorter than others The word pygmy doesn't mean many So why don't you shut up and stop spreading misinformation because these goats actually get pretty big and tall themselves
@@petopedia_ you are incorrect. If you expect to be a “pet-pedia” you need to deal in facts. A 100 lb. goat is not a Pygmy goat and, btw, this video does not depict Pygmy goats.
My female goats got up to about 50 lbs. My neighbor has a really obnoxious, violent, destructive male goat who weighed considerably more and tore all the stucco off the bottom of my house by ramming it.
@@petopedia_ everybody knows adult mammals don’t look the same as their offspring. It’s too bad you didn’t show more adults in your video. But baby goats are better for marketing, and that’s what this channel is about. Good luck with your fish purse/travel aquarium (on your FB) for people who want VERY fresh sashimi.
I had adult goats, and they got along with my 8 dogs just fine. They keep the vegetation trimmed, and they are very civilized. They cannot be house trained, and I would advise against keeping males, because they stink and can get very destructive, especially when they get older. Females are usually real mellow.

Whenever any of us go hiking in our mountains around our homes, we Always take a gun and beat spray to protect ourselves.
Goats are browsers, not grazers. They trim trees much better than they mow grass and will eat grass only if browse is unavailable. Sheep and cows are grazers and will “mow lawns”. If you get goats to keep your grass low you will be disappointed.
AFAIK there are no BREEDS without horns. That said, INDIVIDUAL goats of any breed can be born polled, meaning born without horn buds. Some breeders are trying to breed more polled goats but the genetics are complex and health issues can arise. Most goats you see without horns have been disbudded as babies. The horn buds are frozen/ burned/ cauterized/ rendered unable to grow. It’s a traumatic but quick procedure and many people choose to do it for various reasons. Goats have to be hornless to be shown in 4H. Cool facts: horns are permanent, unlike antlers which fall off every year. Horns have lots of blood vessels and nerves in them so they are thought to help dissipate heat. Removing horns after “kidhood” is a complex surgical procedure and would be done only in extreme situations such as a major injury to a horn.
Making them tame is not very easy ,buy a pregnant mom ,it wil much easy to make them tame when u got them from born ,then u can sel mom back or giveback to a good home ,btw u wil need atleast 2 goats or more ,they wil not stay alone

They don't stay cute bouncy babies forever. If you don't fall in love with the adult version of the baby goat, don't get goats.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! ✨
Is 100% true i love mature version to they very fun😊 i have 2
You can always eat them
@@jorgepalacio6910 yes, I ate a pet dog that I had once, because it grew bigger than I expected, and it was harder to manage.

Yes they are but they’re still goats and behave just like full size goats.
I dream of raising a mini goat someday. I'd call it Butters.
Goats are herd animals. If you buy a goat, get 2 or 3.
Thanks for pointing it out!
If they are indoor goats with dogs and humans and cats etc, wouldn’t that be their herd? Or do they still need actual GOATS to cure their need
