Nice kids ❤ but is it wise to breed a goat that has a malformed nipple, surely this will effect the balance of her under. Just asking as I more understanding of Nigerian goats and it is something that they seam to be funny about ?
It seems to only be a problem the first few days, maybe a week. After that the babies get a little bigger and figure out how to nurse from the larger teat. So far it hasn't been a deal breaker so I think we are going to keep Bailey around for a while. Thank you for watching!
Tbch that nipple looks a lil engorged to me… most breeders would milk that side to reduce the size as some babies may find it difficult to eat out of it n will favour the other side that’s smaller if they do struggle with getting it in there mouth fully… But in answer to ur question about malformed nipples they can pass it down so breeders tend to stay clear of buying goats with malformed ones or sell babies to pet only homes if any of there babies r born with malformed nipples (or if there a crypto baby (only one of his balls drops n has to b removed by surgery as if the other is left in the body it has a high chance of becoming cancerous) in males) xxxx
It was only a problem for a couple days then the babies figured out how to eat from it. Same as last year. Good info there, I didn't know that about the males. Thank you @@Sammie-Lou-Miss-UK
@@CatastrophicFarms I’m sorry I just wanted to explain a lil about deformed nipples to op as they were curious… It’s ok I’m glad it helped in some way… I’m always happy to help were I can xxxxxx
Glad all went well with Bailey & her babies!
We are too, thank you for watching.
Cute healthy looking babies 👍

Thank for sharing this awesome vidro.
Thank you for watching
Great video. Kitty cat better watch out.
She's going to get herself into trouble snooping around like that.

Congratulation 🎉🎉
Sweet addition to farm very nice
Thanks mark!
FRESH GOAT MILK! YUM!
Another month or so and we will be milking goats. I'm very excited.
Thanks for watching!
You gonna have to milk out that 1 side a little bit. Her nipple swells because of to much milk in her bag. Milk it out some an it will go down
The kids figure it out after a couple days. Thank you for watching!
Need 20+ minute videos
