Thank you for the TIPS on regulating the stitches and the HANDS are the control! I have been struggling with my stitches being long/short...this will help me alot! Your work is amazing; and you are are a wonderful teacher!
You can do it!
I just purchased a pre loved sweet sixteen you give such great info. Thank you. From 🇨🇦
I don't have the sweet sixteen, but these are useful tips to try on my domestic. I've been quilting 30 years and always intimidated by free motion. Ugh, if only You Tube were around then. Thank you.
Never too late to learn. You could just binge watch me!
FINALLY! I watched this video the other day and I finally did a stipple that didn’t suck. In fact I’m quite happy with the result. Your advice of making “S’s” was the AHA moment for me. I’ve tried the “go around the quarter” “think dog bones or jig saw puzzles” and always got lost and lost consistency. But you made me get it! Thanks, I’ll be trying more of your methods.
Hooray! That's so great to hear. :)
Wonderful. Now that makes me happy. If you have confidence in your consistent stippling, my work here is complete!
I will forever see Gingerbread people in my stippling! Love it! Best instructions ever for stippling! ❤️
Right?! What a good association.
This is the first teaching on stippling that makes sense to me! Thank you.
Yeah. I love to teach. I have taught many many beginners and see there struggles so I know how to break it down. My teaching degree is also useful after all.
Great stuff Helen. For some reason normal stippling is a challenge for me to keep directions flowing. Your other forms are going to be a great help and probably make normal stippling start to become easier. Thanks
Glad to be of service. Cheers
Buying my s16 tomorrow I have watched your videos over and over. I can’t wait to get a start.
You are going to fall in love with your Sweet. Just give yourself time to develop a solid relationship.
Thanks so much Helen for your wonderful tutorials!! You provide great tips of how to quilt designs. I’m looking forward to the next one!
We have more up our sleeves for you.
Wow. Thank you for sharing all your talent with us. This lesson is among your best. You show us to think outside the box and have something unique.
Thank you so much. Glad my teaching inspires you.
Your videos are so informative. You have a knack for anticipating questions we would have and present great tips and variations in your videos, Which I can apply to my domestic FMQ. My quilt store let me use a Sweet 16 when my domestic was sent off for repair. I was able to finish my king sized quilt and I loved this machine. A little out of my financial reach right now unfortunately.
Glad my tutorials help. I have taught so many that I know the questions and thoughts in your heads. Freaky
Thanks. I’ve been a long arm quilter for over 10 years and yet I always learn something new from your videos. You do a great job of teaching and are pleasant and friendly. Kudos and thanks again
Thank you so much. Glad you can continue to learn and improve.
Thank you#
Just found you on You Tube, and love the way you teach free motion quilting....wonderful....Thank you!

You are such a great instructor! I wish I had discovered you when I first got my 16! You make it "come together" for me whenever I watch you! Thanks so much!😊
You are most welcome.
Thank you for sharing so many great ideas and especially all the tips along the way. I have learned so much from you!
Music to my ears. Enjoy.
Very beautiful! 😍
Love these sessions , is making me more comfortable. Thank you
Excellent. Comfortable and confident.
Thank you for this. I just purchased a used sweet 16. New to the machine and to free motion quilting. This helped so much!
Lots of practise and you will be best friends with your Sweet.
Спасибо за уроки. Вы такая позитивная!!!!!
Thank you.
Awesome video, thank you
So interesting! Thank you!
Amazing 😉
Cow udders! 😂 I usually think of Snoopy heads.
snickerbuckle snoopy heads 😂🤣 I noticed a few of those in my attempt the other day and they pleased me.
Too funny. That’s a new one for the list of suggestions. Good Grief
Wow!! Your vidoes are so helpful to me!!! I do have a question how do u get to stitch over somethibg already stitched so good? I cant for the life of me stitch over previous stitchs correctly!!
It is just practise. And even when you are doing different styles, it always improves your hand/ eye coordination so when you try to stitch over a previous line it will gradually improve. Try the open toe foot for clearest vision too.
@@HelenGoddenQuilts thats what i use but still having hard time!! Thanks for all you do !!!
Sew fun!
Long stitches press harder speed up but not your hands. Let the machine start a few stitches then press peddle and hands. So simple. I will practice. It should fix my biggest problems. Thank yoi.
Yeah. You really were listening. I bet you even took notes. Love it.
Stippling is like handwriting. Very different from person to person.
Absolutely. So be consistent.
