I found out about Chromeo when I was around 16. I'm 33 now and I still listen to them religiously to this day. I very rarely hear tracks that come even close to the amazing polished sound Chromeo has. The closest band I found that was consistent in its sound so far was L'imperatrice and I only found out about her recently.

OH SNAP I had this song ripped from the adult swim website when they hosted the mixtape, finally a CDQ!!! I think they redid some of the guitars too. Definitely hear some new licks.
I heard these dudes by sheer accident 11 years ago when my lil bro loaded my iPod with a bunch of music. Maaaan I was hooked. These cats don’t dissapoint. Bringing the old into the new age. It’s fresh and funky and all around smooth. Cheers.

I have revisited all need for speed games for like the 5th time just out of nostalgia recently and when playing ProStreet stumbled across fancy footwork. Feels good knowing that the song in prostreet wasnt just a single song with that 80's groovy vibe, this guys music all has that vibe!
When they posted the bassline for this on Twitter this summer I listened to it for an hour...turns out I'll still do that with the full song. Hyped for the next album!
