I’m doing the valve cover gaskets on my m113. Did you paint your valve covers, if so what paint and color did you use. I’m debating on whether to clean them or paint them. Let me know your thoughts, thank you!
Sounds great! When in drop the top in my SLK I can hear it like crazy! I hope you get a pulley I would love to see how big of a difference it makes. PS My supercharger sounds the best leaving from a stop in second gear using comfort mode.
@@HeyboysGarage Smaller pulley without good fuelling can risk of leaning out the motor, you need a good fuel mix to cool the pistons also, which equals to more power
Should stay with the stock setup for max performance… the aluminum setup is only good for sound/SC whine, but not performance. Plus they heat soak like crazy… Those intakes are dyno proven to flow less than the factory intakes with high flow panel filters. I had the same aluminum “Needs Wings” style intake with the Spectre conical filters on my E55 and I went back to the factory intakes with pro dry high flow panel filters. My buddy with a 10 second E55 also went back to the factory intakes. So that “15 hp” gain claim is all BS lol
Facts, I went a different route and used the full e55 amg stock intakes (custom fit) with dry drop ins on my c32, these should make the most power on the c32.
It’s interesting because I have heard off this problem with the E55 losing power but the opposite for the C32 because of the stock air box being really restrictive. Let me know why the C32 is losing power with more air in the system. You mentioned heat but I want to know why other than just because of heat soaking
Nice Job. I have a similar set-up on my CL. Replacing the factory elbow with a silicone one will also increase whine and power.
Are you talking about the y pipe that connects to the TB?
Yeah- a smooth silicone one also increases the whine. The ribs in the factory pipe cancel intake noise a bit.@@HeyboysGarage
I was looking for that. Where did you get a silicone one?
Amazon , everything is linked and said in the video@@Frankie_Freedom
@@RealDougFields Meant to reply to you, I've looked for that Y split silicone one, can never find it by itself
I’d drink my orange juice through those intakes! So pretty
Been there done that already boss
That is sick I plan on doing the same to my cl 600, what did you do with your air boxes tho?
Sitting somewhere in my garage attic
Awesome video bro
Appreciate it
Hey man all the piping and the intake tube and then the silicone tube did you buy 2 pipes 2 intake tubes and 2 silicone tubes ???
Thinkin about copying your setup
Yeah I bought 2 pipes and 2 intakes tubes and the 2 silicone. I'm pretty sure I said all this details in the video

Painting them will be good to do. I never did on my M113. Are you wondering the color I used for my M112k?

Fueling b4 smaller pulleys always
Upgraded fueling before smaller Pully. Why is that?
I would have to try that in W mode then which is the same as comfort mode. I will for sure be getting a smaller Pully and a tune with it

@@TheGoldsSkullsClan Stock fueling is enought for a 64mm pully and a tune

You got it!
Hey hem, I have a 07 c230 Benz and I’m on stock suspension, would 19x8.5 wheels fit?
Yes they will fit!
Yoo thanks for replying appreciate it man
I also was looking at 18x8.5 what tire size would you recommend?
255/35/18 rear
225/40/18 front
But you can switch it up with your preference for the front width
@@HeyboysGarage thanks bro, much appreciated
Did you swap the Y pipe for a different one?
Yes, the stock y pipe is very restrictive!
@@HeyboysGaragedo you know the part number?

I have a 07 cls550 , i wanna put a custom
Intake what should i go for?
The factory intake with high flow panel filters is best. These aluminum intakes heat soak and make less power on the dyno than factory.
I’m not sure which company makes aftermarket intakes for the cls550. I haven’t seen any from owners.
@@speedracerjeff what filter would you recommend ??
