Good details. I appreciate it. This all holds for 1st gen V-Strom (DL1000), looks identical.

Use a miter saw to cut the pvc.

Great video. Very helpful as I have recently bought an sv1000 and had a cracked bottom fork leg near pinch bolts. So I’ll be swapping the spring top cap and adjusters into the new one and changing the oil so they match once more. Thankyou.

Where did you get the 130mm Fork Oil level from? Was that directly from racetech? The suzuki service manual says 162mm.

I don’t have them, but anytime I read up on suspension stuff I see a million recommendations for them so that says something

Very helpful video, I recently acquired a copper 2003, and noticed when I was changing the tyre that above the pinch bolts there was a crack so had to replace the fork, I’m awaiting delivery of some mupo springs from Italy and was wondering about spacers and lengths ect and this video has helped me get my mind around the issue. What does the bike feel like now you have done the suspension? Big or little difference? Clear helpful video. Thankyou

Huge difference. I still ride this bike on the street and it's very comfortable, but yet firm enough that I did an entire year of track riding and it wont nose dive. Very happy with it overall.
