One more thing, mine call for 5wt I see you used 10 and I hear people say they use 7. Whats the difference and what should I go with. Ride a mix of street and trails and sit at 160lbs. I tend to bottom out my forks sometimes and hit the front fender would a thicker oil help with this or the clicker adjustments?
I actually just swapped the fluid in mine to 7.5wt 10 felt too heavy for me and I believed it led to pre mature seeping of the fluid past the seals. The fluid couldn’t pass through the calving quickly enough so it started to go the path of least resistance (through the seals) I would highly suggest 7.5wt over 10 It will be an improvement over the 5wt that comes stock.
@ sweet thank you, what would the difference be between the 5 and the 7.5? I believe my 1.0 factace has a lighter duty spring and so what does it affect having thicker oil?
Very helpful ! Nice & detailed video !
Glad you liked it

@ slightly more stiff all around. Slower or more dampened movement of compression
Is it all the same for fastace 1.0?
Yes, same procedure. I should just confirm that the fork leg is 37mm. If so it will use the same seals as well
