I love this little journal. My daughter is an oncology/hematology nurse and I am making a bunch of these for her to give to her co-workers. I've seen so many ways of using lunch bags for wonderfully inventive projects! I know all of us have had to "struggle" with adding a ribbon closure in some unique ways because we didn't do things in the right order...no mistakes, just an opportunity to be more creative! LOVE using real doilies on a project!! I would choose to let more of the doily show...personal preference. This is such a sweet little journal project. Thank you for posting this video...much appreciated!

Angela, thank you for teaching us how to insert the seam binding closures AFTER we've already glued papers down. How many times have I made that little mistake, without a clue how to fix the error. I REALLY appreciate learning this tip!!

I made this project and used my used lunch bags. I decided to keep all the I wrinkles and not iron them out. I also went ahead and since I did that I did not iron out my coffee died papers keeping all the wrinkles. Since I did not have any digital prints I went ahead and used a pretty cheap recollections paper pad called bold basics and picked out the pages in the order that they came only using one page per piece. Yes this left me with a lot of scraps but that's okay. Because I did it this way all the colors and patterns definitely coordinated leaving a beautiful book. I want to thank you for such an inspiring project. It was so nice of you to share your wisdom

This is lovely! I remember learning about the Dewey Decimal System too. I was lucky to get to work in my school library in sixth grade and junior high. I also have very fond memories of going to the public library with my grandmother and getting to pick out two or three books from the children's section to take home.

My personal preference is “when less is more” a lot of times I would like less stickers, butterflies and layering, just because I love the background paper so much. It would be nice to add ephemera to the pockets so the buyer can have fun decorating the pages.

This is lovely! I remember learning about the Dewey Decimal System too. I was lucky to get to work in my school library in sixth grade and junior high. I also have very fond memories of going to the public library with my grandmother and getting to pick out two or three books from the children's section to take home.

My personal preference is “when less is more” a lot of times I would like less stickers, butterflies and layering, just because I love the background paper so much. It would be nice to add ephemera to the pockets so the buyer can have fun decorating the pages.
