I seriously love everything you create. I love how you don't waste our time by speeding up the mundane processes and yet showing in detail how to make everything! You are sooooo organized and neat and tidy. I just can't say enough nice things about your videos. Thank you 💖
You're so inspiring. Now I can't just throw away anything. Every paper bag, carton, tag, ribbon, fabric cutout, earns a second look and stashed. Thank you for being so generous.
Just found you today and already watched a few videos...i love how you marry paper, plastic, sewing...etc. Then using up all scraps you have is right up my alley 😃. Thanks for the new ideas!
I sew and quilt so I thought I would tell you, that you are going around the corners of your sewing very properly❤ such beautiful work, thank you for sharing your talent and making such a wonderful tutorial
If you are a teacher, how fortunate your students are! You do everything in such a calm and enjoyable way. It does however remain a challenge to set time aside to do it - but please, yóú must always keep teaching
You make the most beautiful Journals I´ve seen so far. So thank you for showing us all your tricks and methods and your special taste. All I saw, searching for ideas, was more vintage, more cute, more full, more beads, more ribbons, more ... - just too "more". I like it, that you left over enough space to write. Who wants more, can add more. Today I found your chanel and watched sooooo many of your wonderful videos. Now I have soooo much new ideas, that I can work on it for a year or more.
I have enjoyed your tutorials immensely. I don't necessarily have "junk" to make a journal of. It is a collection of recipes that my Mum has kept over the last 60 or so years. They have been stored in shoe boxes; everything from handwritten recipe cards , to magazine articles, newspaper articles, specialty books. Each box is for either baking or cooking. Mum is losing interest in preparing things and just wants to pitch all of them in the recycling bin. Me, this is my Mum's Legacy, I want to keep those little notes & scrbbles . Something that is not fancy, pristine, or tidy. I want to keep those stained, grease marked cards a little longer and not in an old box.
Thank you for being clear and concise. So many other channels ramble & repeat themselves, you explain as you do it and everything is easy to see. Love it!
The attention to detail down to the thread on the same side is amazing! My perfectionist tendencies would do the same thing. Looks so nice and professional 😊
I like your accent. I like it when you organize your work ahead of time, so that you dont waste your time and that teaches us how not to wate ours. Plus you dont ramble on. You keep on point. You are just about the only person I watch to learn new ideas about junk journaling. Keep going. I really enjoy watching your tutorials.
Excellent instructional video. Your instructions written out is the best idea I've seen on TH-cam and I've watched hundreds of them. Your verbal instructions are excellent, too. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤
Ich schaue Deine Videos aus Deutschland. Mein Englisch ist nicht das Beste - aber du sprichst so deutlich und nicht zu schnell das ich fast alles verstehe. Und das was ich nicht verstehe, zeigst du perfekt. DANKE 🥰
Hands down, the best demonstration of any junk journal I’ve ever seen. Thank you for taking the time to give such details to us newbies! Absolutely gorgeous.
Hi, I have only just found junk journals, you have inspired me so much. Yesterday I watched your 10 questions. Your story touched me so much, you beautiful, breave and creative soul. Thankyou for all your beautiful jounals and tutorials🙏
LOVE your videos. Excellent easy to follow instruction, very professional, not searching for items ..conversational without personal chitchat, you keep it about the project. You are number ONE in my favorite videos!!!
Blades are so expensive, I found out the hard way that the cheaper off brands from Amazon are not worth any savings you may have. I just buy them in bulk from Amazon and really try to get as much use out of them as possible. It is so nice to watch your tutorials because you explain your reasoning as to why you do something and you explain things in a way that it isn’t boring and there is no extra talking that will take away from what you are doing. So many youtubers get to talking and forget that they are supposed to be doing a tutorial. So thank you! Have a great rest of the weekend.
It's taken me a couple of days to watch this as I was working along with you. Oh my gosh how much fun this was. Especially with your brilliant guidance!! You are simply amazing and create such beautiful art.
Excellent tutorial and you are very generous with your knowledge and time. I love that you aren’t selling supplies and pushing products. Your demos are approachable and uses stuff that would be thrown away. The world is more beautiful with lovely, handmade journals. Thank you 🇨🇦❤️😘👏👍
Thank you so much for all the wonderful videos. I have learned so much from you. I have purchased everything I need to begin my first journal. Thanks for all your help. You are truly an inspiration. Texas Usa
I'm making a junk journal for my daughter in law...new experience for me. You have helped me immensely when I feel overwhelmed and my brain shuts down. Keep the videos coming, you're doing a phenomenal job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless❤
Natasha, by far, you are the most creative and patient instructor in all the world. I appreciate the time you take to bring your artistic talents to all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤
I have seen someone make journals like this years ago and can not find it. Now people have made detailed journals that you can't even write in. But this is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you.
I love any kind of journals/notebooks made from paper bags or envelopes. My favorite is an added hand made postcard. Thank you for sharing all of your awesome details to this junk journal.
Very, very cute with fun little details and a nice variety of papers. And I love how you keep every tiny scrap and then use them later. Beautiful work, Natasha. XOXOJane
All I can say is, just WOW, Natasa! Love this! I was wondering, if you are, or ever have been a school teacher? Because you explain things so very well...!! Perfectly described, and perfectly demonstrated, too!! And just love the fact that you have your step by steps written down for us!! Great tutorial, as always!! Thanks for everything you do!! Much love 💕 Suzy
Thank you so much Suzy!! Amazingly, I have been asked that question before, and no I am not a school teacher. I always thought I don't have enough patience to teach anyone anything, but I learned through this youtube channel, as well as recent home schooling I had to do with my kids because of Covid, that I'm not so bad at explaining things hehe. Thank you so much Suzy for all of your support, always watching, commenting, I just want you to know that it means so much to me and always makes my day!
I agree, I've only just discovered your channel a few days ago and I love it. Normally, I don't have the patience to watch videos because people go on about unrelated things or drag them out. I love that I can see the list and order of things in writing. I've just watched part of this in silence while babysitting my granddaughter and I understand everything as you're so clear. And I love that you're in Australia too. I discovered 2 other stores from one of your videos and I purchased done items. I'm so excited to start in this adventure.
It would make sense to take little tag of some sort and place it on the book cover so that you have something to glue the ribbon to, take another thin tag and sandwich the ribbon between it and then apply your book plate over top. Any piece of think paper would work. It won’t add bulk and it would be an additional bit of reinforcement for the ribbons. Option B apply fabritack or other glue to ribbon and allow it to dry and then glue the ribbon down. Final option, run a couple of stitches through the glued down paper tag and through the ribbon as well. Just some ideas.
Qué bonito y bien explicado. Agradezco mucho tu buen hacer. Aunque no capte el inglés tan rápido para mí, se entiende muy bien ya que está muy claro el paso a paso. Gracias desde España.
Natasha, you are incredibly gifted. Thank you for sharing your gift. I hope to embark in this journey and bless others with what I learned from you. Keep at it. Thank you.
There are not enough words to express my gratitude to and for you. Brilliant tutorial...as always. I always feel as if my spirit has had a therapy session of the best kind: ART, when I watch you tutorials. And your voice has such a calming effect with your beautiful accent. I love the way you say paper: pie-puh...Thank you Natasha for always bringing joy and creativity in my life. Continually looking forward to your generous shares.
this video was one of the best I've ever watched - I don't know - it's true that everyone is making junk journal and stuff but your journals and your way I don't girl 🤗 excellent - inspiring - practical - great steps and awesome results - thank you so much for sharing your talent and ideas with us 🥰🤗
Thank you so much for this tutorial! 💕 You do such a great job explaining, and, I also love the written instructions you laid alongside the project as you were doing it. Very helpful… Such a beautiful book-can’t wait to make mine! ❤
Hej Natasha! Great tutorial! Beautiful journal! Very inspiring! Thanks to you I'm working on my first journal made of envelopes. It's so much fun, I forget to eat and go to bed! I will give this one a try for sure!
I will always use a template from now on. I made a beautiful cover for my Roses Journal, made 3 signatures thinking they were A4 folded in half, which is A5 and did some nice sewing etc .... and they are too big. I can't trim them as I would lose too much work. Thank you for your clear concise tutorials.
This looks lovely, both to make and to receive. My friend has said she's struggled with journaling lately and after seeing this I truly think receiving a journal like this would give her a kickstart! I can't wait to begin making one for her and for myself. Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial. 😊
This is an amazing tutorial, it really helps me to see how to begin. That is always the hardest part for me. I have so much, I’m overwhelmed with where to begin. Thank you💕💕💕💕
Amazing as always! I love all of your creations and I’m about to make a bulk amount of a few of your creations like the Tull flowers, and a bunch of the different junk journals and envelope journal and embellishment holders over the weekend and next week. I will share pictures of my creations with you all. Thank you so much for all the instructions and inspiration and all the encouraging words and just the encouragement in general that you give us all.
I just watched this today, 3/15/21 and I also agree that you do an excellent step by step tutorial. I’ve been making these for about a yr and a half and learned a lot from you in this one tutorial. Thank you. 🌺❤️
I liked that you did a flip through at the beginning to decide if we want to continue through the tutorial! I did continue...thank you!
I seriously love everything you create. I love how you don't waste our time by speeding up the mundane processes and yet showing in detail how to make everything! You are sooooo organized and neat and tidy. I just can't say enough nice things about your videos. Thank you 💖

This would be an amazing journal, Krisy! You could include pictures of what your mom made alongside the recipe in your journal. Such a great idea!
Watch this long ago, but it's a great guide to follow each time you make a journal, so I came back to it! Thanks. 🎄
