Thanks man! Haha I keep wondering if I should just ditch the beer angle to everything but I personally really like it so comments like this help. Cheers!! 😃🍻
another cool vid bro The Maori people are very similar to the Haida Gwaii indians of Canada, we have the same culture ,carvings and both cook hangis .We travelled the flight path of the birds that fly from Canada past Hawaii to New Zealand Thats why you feel at home here. @@donovankelly12
Great vid, yet again! The beers look so delicious. Seems like quite a fun event with lots of cool people. You looked very confused and fascinated at Garage Project lol.
When we were in NZ in July, I couldn’t help but notice a strong affinity for hoppy brews. Many many varieties of pale ales. Your experience as well? I’m more of a malt fiend, so, though I enjoyed the ales (especially NZ IPA), I was a bit disappointed in the lack of maltier or wheated beers. Were there any such at Beervana?
Interesting! I think you are right in saying the maltier and wheatier beers are less popular but after going to over 30 different craft breweries across both Islands I can say that we’ve been able to find some really good ones! A very heavy focus on the Hazies though. Like I’ve said in previous videos, the ones that brew them have done a great job, I’ve had some of the best hefeweizens I’ve ever drank down here!
Ooo I don’t know yet! I’ll be there earlier that week for a concert but I might have family visiting that week too… might try and make it work though!!
Just laughing myself silly at all the people posing for 'photos'. No idea why I've never been - I love craft beer, I live in Dunedin... have to go next year before I move to Quebec!
Hahaha glad you enjoyed! Trudi you ended up commenting on the Beervana Video not the Dunedin one lol but it’s all good! Definitely go before you move to Quebec! Are you looking forward to the move??
You just put out so many great videos, and I tend to wait and binge them together, so I definitely got confused, lol! Yeah, mixed emotions - I'm leaving everything I know, but at the same time, you only have one life to live, and I'd be miserable without Alex. Plus, it's an adventure. 😊 I am scared about whether I'm going to be accepted to Quebec (even when we're married) and all the immigration stuff. Plus, I'll still have an adult daughter here, so that'll be rough 😓
Thanks so much, Trudi!! Glad to hear that 😊 That is a very exciting and difficult move across the world! I hope nothing but the best for you. My brother moved to Quebec and lived there for the better part of 10 years, it sounded like it could be difficult to be accepted there more than a lot of places in Canada, but there’s great people and assholes everywhere right? Haha you should be just fine 😃
I love the video but there’s just a spelling mistake on the place name like Riwaka. You need to come to the top of the South Nelson Tasman region as we have about ten different craft Brewers in this region alone and we have some fabulous tourist attractions as well
Great question, Christine! Definitely the Wellington breweries like Hay day, mean doses, garage project, and Duncan’s. Shining Peak, Renaissance, and Eddyline were really great to talk to as well. There’s probably a few more I’m missing too haha so many great beers and awesome people 😃🍻
Killing it mate!! Looks like you found the party. Keep it up with the beers, it’s gold

Looks like fun!!
Such a blast!!
Great video!! What an amazing event, I hope we get to go next year so we can catch an earlier session!
Absolutely!! 😃
I've sold orchids there at the Home and Garden Show. But it's New Zealand, there is only one sometimes two degrees of separation for everything.
Oh how cool! Haha two degrees of separation…Yeah I kinda get the feeling it’s like that. Thanks for watching! 😃🍻
Hi Never knew that was there.
Every August! Looks like there’s a good amount of beer festivals across the country

Haha I’ve never seen this bubble/ smoke gun before let alone have it used to garnish a brewski… hell of an experience!

Awsome video bro 👍🏽
Thanks a lot, Mason!! Cheers 🍻
So glad you both had such a great time!
Thank you, it was a very fun time!! Makes me want to go to all of the beer festivals in NZ…
Awesome event and what a bargain at $49.50 for 4 hours of beer drinking. Thanks so much for sharing.
Yeah not too shabby! Thank you for watching, so happy you enjoyed! 🍻😃
Please tell me you are coming to Christchurch for beer fest ?
Ooo I don’t know yet! I’ll be there earlier that week for a concert but I might have family visiting that week too… might try and make it work though!!
Waiting for next event in Auckland Central.
I hope it’s great! Unfortunately the beer festival in March was cancelled when we were there ☹️
If you’re up the top of the South Island April next year, there’s a Marchfest which is another craft brew festival
@@LottieCKwe might just be! Sounds awesome, maybe we’ll see you there??

Ooops my bad! Yeah absolutely, we will be showcasing that area very soon! 😃🍻
Ryan also loves craft beer. Troy however does not.
So true. Ryan will be throwing em back on a brisk Tuesday morning in the shade while Troy might consider pulling out his margarita ville once a year
Any favourites or new finds?
