Growing up influenced by fantasy and anime, we would all imagine scenarios, stories, fights, etc in our heads, from either our favourite series or imaging our own moments
But One Punch Man tops anything any of us could ever imagine or create. I think this is why this series resonates with me Even at my age, it’s like a love letter to all the things that captured us to battle anime.
It’s like a consecutive punch of wonder, of imagination, mystery, horror, sci fi, spectacle, art, design and heart.
The respect for the material is insane. Characters don’t do stupid things. No silly plot points, no tropes or cliches and the absolute dedication to power levelling and the escalation of power and fights. This is what we all want and ask for.
It keeps giving and hitting and hitting and hitting and hitting and it’s done it for years now. You don’t get series this special that come round very often. I thought I saw everything there was, but , this series renewed my love.
You don’t create something like this without having a deep love for this, the series was literally born from 1 man’s passion, a man that couldn’t even draw for godsake. To see what’s he’s created and to watch him elevate that original vision, alongside one of the greatest illustrators around right now, really is inspiring to be honest.
This series literally recaptures my inner childhood man, the memories that come flooding back from when I was a kid. Literally thinking of memories of when we used to beat each other up at school, recreating tournaments. The training sessions in the playground! The dedication to tying our school ties round our heads and arms like we were playground warriors 😂 These memories all flooding back. Only masterpieces of art can bring these feelings man
To watch how this garou saga has progressed over the years and to finally approach the culmination of this saga has continued to be a joy. This tops every single expectation anyone ever, ever dreamed of.

Blast doesn't know who Saitama is and tries to warns him to get run off.
But, when Saitama pulled out his Serious Punch, Garou mirrored it. Blast knew that the planet would shatter from their punches and was in literal shock the moment he knew.
i think blast will teleport both of them to other dimension at the right moment when they both serious punch so that earth can be saved.

The fact that Saitama himself is a calm dude. He may not be collected at times and goofs off but he is all around a call guy that we’ve never seen genuinely upset or angry. Genos was the first person that befriended him in the series so to me with how their bond has grown This is the rage of a good man and garou is fucked

I believe Blast has yet to show the true extent of his abilities. He effortlessly decked God Garou in the face several times while none of Garou’s nuclear & black hole fists reached him physically (deflected with his abilities). Throughout his long combat history with God (presumably through his former vessels), and all that did is damaged his suit (just like Saitama’s) and a scar on the face. He stated himself that he, and presumably God are the two beings that can manipulate the reality of the cosmos.
Fubuki’s hypothesis is right all along. Blast is the hero that could solo all heroes in the HA, his abilities are just plain awesome & leagues above them all.
That aside, Garou really has done it. He just pissed the one man whose rage everyone in OPM shoud fear the most.
The fact that garou can overpower his portals is concerning though. But i bet he doesnt want to fight all out since the planet could get destroyed

Not only he is concerned about the wellbeing of everyone & the entire planet, he also offered to help Garou overcome God’s power by teleporting him to another dimension. He also deflected Garou’s attacks high up to the sky so that no one else get caught in their destructive clash.

I have goosebumps everytime I hear Blasts name now. Cause he was only a legend till now. Boy this guy is something else, Tatsumaki was right about him. He can take on all of the HA at once. Make no mistake, Garou is a God level threat now who can easily destroy planets. Blast was keeping up with him while making sure nobody gets hurt. Not even Garou himself. The fact that we still havnt seen him in proper action is scary. Commanding Trillions of robots? Shooting lasers from his eyes? Ruling the physic abilities? He also defeated the greatest ninja to ever live.
I just can't believe get are watching Blast, Serious Saitama and this level garou in action.
He didn't want to destroy the planet, so he couldn't go all out.

Can we just all stop and understand we are blessed by the God of manga. This is beyond art, beyond anything we could have imagined. The next few chapters are going to be the best fight in manga history. Im so ready.

While he is still underappreciated he apparently has broken the record for fastest promotion to A according to Metal Knight I think. But given Fubuki clogged up promotions that probably ain't saying much.
Here's the Rough translation of the chapter if ya'll are curious.. Especially what blast said in the last panel.
Blast ask Garou to come with him because he is using god power and normal people can’t withstand his presence.
Blast noticed that Garou isn’t completely controlled by god but if Garou doesn’t comply then he will have to fight him (Blast said like Garou, he is also using power of universe)
Garou said people crumble before his presence is what absolute evil is. He thinks he doesn’t need anyone to understand his absolute evil and this is where he part with Bang and Tareo (the kid) and it’s best for them to stay-away from him as it will only brings them misfortune.
Genos attacks Garou, Garou notices that Genos is Saitama disciple.
Blast attacks with dimension canon, tricks Garou into his portal then attacks with gravity punch.
However Garou is fine and returns with both gravity punch and nuclear punch, Blast evades by opening portal and let the punches go through, but the energy is too great, it blows the portal away.
Garou said top 1 hero is not just for show, but as he is now, Blast will not be a concern for him.
Garou notices that Saitama was not serious and think if he can bait Saitama becoming serious and mimic that then he can win. That is why he goes for Genos
As 2 fists about to collide, Blast terrified that the energy is too great, the earth will break

Blast was holding back as it seems. Also Blast stated Garou only got fraction of God's power. Blast was scared and stated what would happen if Garou got God's full power. Garou is now the herlad of God also is being used by God
Well, it doesn't make sense that the scheming god to give his entire being to someone he cannot fully control. Garou didn't fully accept the offer so this is the extent of what he gets, but he is kinda free so that's something.
@Annie Leonhart God has some degree of control over Garou, read the chapter. Garou thought he has free will but he doesn't. Just as Darkseid was always under the influence of The Great Darkness but didn't know it.
He's still holding Genos' heart. Man Garou is totally screwed now.
Theory: I think most of the time Genos forcing own heart than dr. Kusaino probably upgrade something like memorable part exist in his body to transplsnt another body.

This is the first time we've seen any serious emotion from Saitama since he got his powers. I remember watching videos that talk about him reaching levels of apathy and almost despair because there's nobody to challenge him, not with his OP strength anyway. But, not only that, he failed to arrive in time and "save the day" as he always does, which has never happened. This was a traumatizing event for him.
What do you mean, he always comes late, sometimes when the fighting is over. This is something he said to Genos way back (even shown in the chapter) so it's not rare.

Quiet possibly the greatest manga chapter I have ever read. The whole war leading up to this moment, us webcomic readers waiting and yearning for this fight to finally get here and be as close to perfect as it gets. I can’t believe this, I’m in utter shock. This is absolutely one of the greatest chapters of all time, and one punch man, a show that I started just for laughs, now brings so much more to the table. The excitement, the anticipation, the tears I have had while reading this manga has been unmatched for me. I shot up and accidentally hit my head so hard on the wall behind my bed while Reading this chapter (when Genos 😢) and thought I gave myself a concussion. after finishing this chapter I sat there in disbelief and I don’t know how tf I’m going to go about my day now. I pityAll my friends that have only watched the anime all call me crazy for saying this is now my favorite manga/anime. They are sleeping, this is unmatched.

6:02 I think this is supposed to be rain from radioactive fallout. After Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked, the ash and radiation pretty much meshed with existing clouds to produce black rain that fell for at least an hour. Garou has been producing a lot of radiation lately, and he has been making a lot of nuclear explosions, so the rain being fallout rain would very much make sense.

Yea it's black rain. The massive ashes are produced from nuclear blast burning a large area. But it doesn't seem like any burning happened here because Blast deflected the nuclear punches into the air with his portals.
7:34 did you all notice how Saitama's front face is black and Garou's is white after he mirrors Serious Saitama? Marvelous detailing and thoughtfulness by Murata, as if good-evil, light-dark coexist, just like yin-yang.
I've read someone wrote the post about what actually going on, and why Blast is actually holding back the entire time.
From what we can understand from blast statement

Might Imply that Blast also have the same ability like Cosmic Garou, that is the ability to control & use the force of nature at will

Blast is a veteran & more experienced than Garou that is why he can suppress & control his power better, Garou on the other hand just don't care about destroying the planet & goes all out, while blast more concerned for the people and the planet that is why he held back & planning to face Garou in *_another dimension_* where he can go all out.

What Garou used on that Consecutive Normal punches was a fusion between his Nuclear Punch and Gravity Fists/Punch.
Blast teleported those fists away up in the sky to avoid any damages to the surface.
Murata is killing it again, seriously is there anything or anyone who is going hold him back at all. Blast has shown why he is the #1 S class hero. Channeling all that black hole punches into the sky at the same speed to avoid any further distraction was epic. Ah Murata you really are the man.

It's his channel, he can do whatever he wants... and B.) Why wouldn't he. One is clearly better than the other. It's chapters like this, (and honestly, most of them) that help fanboys understand the difference between creating something that is a clear cash grab (DBS) and something that involves artistic integrity (OPM). I mean... DB is all about 2 characters fighting with almost the same skill level until one of the characters slightly comes out on top.

This has been an incredible week for both. This amazing chapter and getting to see blast in action briefly and Saitama getting serious and over on DBS there was a very sick chapter as well. Reading both of these today got me all kinds of hyped.
@@EXRDaBeasta I'll agree to disagree about this weeks DBS chapter. That doesn't mean you're wrong... just means I think different. The DBS chapter was literally a rinse and repeat from the Moro arc. Previous chapter leaves off with a Vegeta power up cliff hanger, which leads into him getting completely wiped the next, followed up by an unseen Goku technique and powerup. The movie.... sure Gohan and Piccolo got their shine, but is there anyone here that truly believes that the next big villain won't wipe them out? It's just simplistic writing. OPM allows different characters to shine without later making them irrelevant. There are of course... a lot of other good mangas to read as well.

You know. The page where Saitama, Blast and Garou standing there kind of means something. Blast in front of the heroes on the ground represent humans at their fullest potential but still bound by their limiters due to them being weak, Saitama representing humans giving up their humanity to become something beyond human knowledge. Genos on the ground represent the line where humans cannot cross and Garou is at that point shows how close he is going to go beyond the point and reach Saitama's level of power.

To be honest, I see Garou losing easily. He's still underestimating Saitama. By underestimating, I mean he still has the balls to fight against him.
The only battle I could be hyped about is Saitama vs god.... that would most likely be at the end of the manga, and it'll be the first and only time saitama would actually feel the thrill of a real battle.
That's what the whole point of series is, the moment when Saitama will fight by giving his all will most probably be by end of series when he will fight the final villain who we all think is God for now

Hah! Dude, that was such an incredible chapter. Saitama's face when he arrived was so freaking amazing but sad at the same time. I love the synergy between Genos and Saitama, I love their relationship and Saitama truly cares for him, you could see that in his face, furthermore when he thought about the time they talked about him always being late, so heartbreaking. And I knew Saitama would get back fairly soon and without a scratch! Some people actually believed it, lmao and I guarantee you that he won't get hurt by his own serious punch either. Difference between Garou and Saitama is that Garou runs on borrowed power, that is huge, but still limited. Saitama is just limitless, and will see this difference in the next couple chapters.

That panel of celestial Garou in Saitama mode is so reminiscent of Marvel comics in the 90’s that took place in the cosmos with Nova, Adam Warlock and Silver Surfer. An absolute beautiful job dude. It’s one of his best pieces to me besides that super human glass goblet he drew.
In the episode 1x5 when Saitama went to the hero registration, while examiners said how he broke the exams immensely, they said to Saitama "as if a god resides in him". I think that there are multiple gods and one of them saw saitama's ambition towards becoming stronger and granted him his power. Because Saitama said that i trained so hard, one day i become too strong. Like out of the blue. I think Saitama has one of the gods avatar as well and i think(again) why Saitama lost his hair was due to the radiation. He doesn't emit radiation to outside but inside. That's why he has a dense body and can't even get hurt or bleed internally. That's my theory anyways so it might be wrong, who knows.

I kept telling people murata and one will be giving us a massive chaotic battle and here it is.
I don't think this is his full power or even close but i think he wasn't holding back his punch this time.
And there are a ton of possibilities that would occur in this last panel
1. Blast may be quick enough to teleport there punches to another dimension.
2. Blast may teleport both of them in another dimension.
3. If they were to continue the clash I'm sure garou would definitely get overpowered by saitama.
4. if they both clash with equal potencies the earth would be destroyed.
5. Would cause a massive chaos throughout the cosmos if one of them ever get launched to the outer space space.
6. Garou dies one sidedly
7. Garou couldn't suppress or equal with Saitama's punch

The black rain is a reference to the real black rain that happen after nuclear attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it was a radioactive dust rain.
Knowing how murata likes to emphasize scale and detail in large shots like we saw with Tatsumaki pulling up the chunk of earth, I can't wait to see how a pissed off Saitama punch is drawn.
The amount of damage to the environment and the scale of that clash of fists is going to be absolutely breathtaking.
