    I used this frame at first but have since made my own out of a used canvas and staple the fabric tightly. Ive been using it for a couple years now and love it. I use that same needle tool to separate my loops, I love that thing!!

    You can get no slip hoops from Joanns. They are perfect for punch needle and cross stitch because they don't allow the fabric to move around. Nice work! 💗

    I do cross stitch with the snap frames, I put felt/paper towel between the grip. And you might want to use in reverse. Could help.

      I came to say the same. I use felt & cut the pieces to be like an inch bigger all around. Since it gets so snug, I then use that extra felt sticking out like a pull tab to get the snaps piece off quicker.

    Get a large carpet frame, so much better, especially if you want to do several at once. Really looking forward to your digital patterns! I am looking at adding mirror frames, totes and appliqués to my craft booth along with the coasters. I was thinking about using cork for the backs but then I thought it might make cleaning problematic. Also, you can crochet a chain and glue around the edge of the coaster to give it a neater look, if you want. I really appreciate the knowledge you shared, great video!

    You can try using clamps or simple stitches around the fabric to prevent it from sliding.

    • @chloeeyuen
      @chloeeyuen  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes that may work. I stuck felt on the frame and that seems to have done the trick 😃

But I just wanted you to know just in case it helps - your new detailed crochet toys are absolutely amazing - bravo!! Hi, love the designs theyre all so cute! would you be able to do a quick tutorial on how you did the outline in white for no face's hands/arms? Is that one row of white, or did you do two rows? I've tried doing one row of colour and there's always spaces in between and they look like dashes instead of one consecutive line if that makes sense.

    • @chloeeyuen
      @chloeeyuen  หลายเดือนก่อน +1
