GLE W166 with no ac control in the rear: T30 on the (2) bolts in the arm rest cubby and (2)T27 under the ac unit left up on the center console remove the 3 plugs and it’s out.
I wish i could have seen you actually change them. I just have to imagine what you did. I have one bad one on an e550 coupe. I'm guessing this is something you cant do without exposing the top part of the cup holders where the springs go.
Hello, regarding the Ipod cord. You mentioned you don't use it. Do you know what type of connection it had on the other end? Was it for Ipod or iPhone? I'm in need of that cable for my 2015 and wondering what it looks like.
How did you pop the cupholder spring loaded flaps in place? Did you remove the top black cover and if so how? I can't find any video on this. By the way I have the newer W166. I think it should be almost the same.
I have the same issue: the right latch clip broken, and I saw the part on eBay, but just don't know how to open the console and replace the small clip.

Have you ever replaced ur center console? The latch on my center console lid broke recently and in result 1 of the 2 lids will not remain closed

Some are equipped with it and some or not. You need to check if you have this options.
