A few years ago I was in Paris for work and a colleague and I got caught in a late night rain storm near the Eiffel Tower. We ducked into this tiny, cozy restaurant a few blocks from the tower which was warm and the food was amazing. Somehow, it is one of my favorite memories ever and the smell of Portrait of a Lady took me right back to that spot. It is an incredible scent - thank you for introducing me to it!

Portrait of Lady is probably the most unique fragrance I have smelled and definitely the most potent and long lasting. I can only use two sprays otherwise it is overwhelming. I have TONS of perfume, niche and designer, so this is really saying something....

Love Bobbi Brown illuminating bronzer, I’ve been using it for years. I use as my bronzer/ blush when I’m in a hurry to get out the door. It’s such a beautiful product 💜

Oh yeah I got my 2nd shot April 19th and I felt bad after a while fell alseep and knocked out til the middle of the nite. I still felt bad after but once I got moving around the next day it was like a light switch. I felt way better the next day my arm was just sore. This time I just moved my arm as much as I could and it made that soreness go on away real quick.
Yes!!!! I was one of those people that said what did you do differently with your lips! That stuff works💋💋 and its a beautiful effect.

Just wanted to say I'm glad I found you. I'd never tried any cosmetics from what I'd consider clothing designer brands like Dior and Chanel. I'm pretty loyal to Viseart, Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, and the like. I decided to try a Dior 5 Couleurs after seeing you do a declutter video and WOW, it's actually very good! I was extremely surprised. It's ridiculously expensive, but cost aside I have no complaints with the quality or performance. I've used the palette with several brand of primers now and it's always looked great. It lasts fine through my 12-hour shifts at work. I look forward to trying more of these quints (when they go on sale, however). Thanks to you, Dior earned a new fan!

18 foundations!! OMG I just I should stop complaining - lol Uh oh hope you are feeling better with that second shot! I was so lethargic when I got my first one and I was so sore as well!! Taking my second dose in a couple of weeks! I wonder if it s going to work on me with the By Terry? The packaging is SO adorable! I got that new TF gloss as well. Like you I was debating if I really needed it but swatching it I fell in LOVE with that beautiful peachy color - goes well with the natural color of my lips!!

Please let us know what your recommendation is for the Summer - La Mer The Reperative Skintint/Radiant Skintint (30 SPF) or Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted (15 SPF)? Or maybe another product for the mature healthy skin with some minor imperfections...

I’ve been wearing the By Terry cc serum quite a bit, too. I bounce between the cc serum and the Kevyn Aucoin stripped nude skin tint. If I do wear an actual foundation, it is typically is the Surratt Dew Drop foundation. I purchased the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk, but I purchased a shade that was too dark. I assumed I had seen the sun in the last year. 💁🏻♀️
After listening to you talk about your favourite one and done shadows - I am so excited because I finally used a gift card I got for Xmas and I purchased the Dior mono in Cosmopolite. It is just everything isn’t it! 🤩. I tried it after you mentioned it in multiple of your older videos.
I love the By terry cc serum! I find it actually blurring on the skin and love wearing it on its own!!!

Hey, Michele!! Thumbs up for getting the vaccine! Hope you are doing well! Portrait of a Lady is a captivatinggg sent. Have been loving it for years..these are my favorite kind of sents. It reminds me of the staying power many mainstream perfumes had years and years ago (as my mum tells me), like the Estée Lauder “Private Collection” 7ml stained glass bottle, which used to be sold in a calfskin leather pouch. Also, a very nice eyebrow pencil from YSL is in the shade 4 sandré. People always think they need warm toned pigmented eyebrow pencils, whereas for natural and non harsh eyebrows, it is quite the opposite. Xxx
I have been eyeing the Macrene lip filler for so long.... it’s so spendy... but I’ve been hunting for something that’s plumping but not sticky or tingly. I think I’m going to go for it. A Michele endorsement is always worth it! 💫

I love Frederic Malle's perfumes! My favorites are Carnal Flower and Musc Ravageur. The Golden Cell Moisturizer by Victoria Beckham is bomb! I have her brown and bordeaux eyeliners next I want the bronze one. Love that coral lip stick!

Portrait of a Lady is definitely memorable and stays with you. Have you ventured into the Escentric Molecules scents? I love Molecule 01. It’s fun to layer with other fragrances.

Portrait of a Lady is a ‘room rocker’ and I love it’s layered story. This is my first foray into Frederic Malle perfumes, but certainly not my last. ✨

I love BB Antigua. I was lucky enough to get it as a freebie with another BB purchase as I probably wouldn't have picked it up. It's well worth buying direct from their site as they often have awesome gift with purchases. For reference, I'm very fair skinned with dark hair, hazel eyes.
I recently got a set of frederic malle scents because une rose smelled so good on my friend. To my surprise, I love lipstick rose instead. Reminds me of my mom when I was a child.

Well I knew that sooner or later there would be something that I don't like that Michele loves- and that is Portrait of Lady perfume! Bought it about 10 years ago after reading the notes and thought, "yeah, I love all those, should be good..." Nope. It is really strong for me and waaayyyy tooo much rose at first. Ended up giving the bottle to a friend. But I love Frederick Malle's Musc Ravaguer- that is one of my all time favorites and is always on my perfume shelf. The other one I love is Byredo's Accord Oud- just tantalizing and potent!
I can't remember if you compared them before, but how does Byredo Dysco compare with TF Cognac Sable in terms of colour story?
I also got a backup of thT TF gloss...and so happy it doesn't have that flavor his other glosses have. Can you tell me what color in the Macrene foundation you have. Didn't know if it was light or medium.
I love this YSL eyebrow pencil I'h been using it for a few years.. You should try more Ysl makeup, it is wonderful (Excuse me for my English)

You totally sold me on the Tower 28 blushes. I love them (Golden Hour and Power Hour, I actually layer them) so much. I also picked up the Tom Ford fiber brow gel and Kosas air brow but haven’t cracked them open yet as I want to use up my other brow products first. Watching you is dangerous for my pocketbook! 🤣. I’ve been thinking about getting the Lamer Powder Foundation but am not sure which shade. I have light/medium neutral (cool leaning) skin. I did not see what shade you have in the description box. Have you seen these shades in person or is there one you would recommend?
Ohhhh dear me, Portrait of a Lady! Lo and behold! A powerful lady and a crowd pleaser at the same time. It is my desert island perfume, there are many other scents with the patchuli-rose combination but nothing that stunning. She enters the room, jaws drop, but she is confident enough not just to dwell on the impressions, because she is deep and sophisticated.Not for the faint hearted, though! And then, your other recommendation, the Bobbi Brown Antigua; maybe the end of my search for a bronzer to my very fair skin! Thank you dear, and kind regards from Greece!

Second shot gave me Bell’s palsy and a 104F fever. 🤬Don’t do tinted balms but might try the by terry since I’m not feeling up to the regular full face of makeup. Also want to try the la mer powder foundation. I used the la mer regular foundation everyday.
I was curious about the Bobbi Brown bronzer/blush....I’m so fair and they all come too warm toned...hard to get that perfect cool toned bronzer...
There is a beach-side hotel here in San Diego called "Tower 28". It refers to a Lifeguard Tower as they are numbered at most Beaches.
Yup ... the founders are from HB and tower 28 ( that one) is on bolsa chica at HB ❤️
@@jenzerr8856 I love the Beaches in Orange County(Newport, HB) becuase they have more land mass of sand compared to the beaches near San Diego which have less land sand mass. L.A. beaches also have a lot of sand mass. 🏖🏖
@@patr70 my mom learned to surf at bolsa chica in the 60’s... I miss Southern California so much 😩 been living in Washington state for a long time now..but still miss home terribly ❤️
@@jenzerr8856 Its nice(I live in San Diego) but its gotten very crowded and expensive. I went to Denver, Colorado for a week last year and was amazed how much less crowded and congested it is compared to San Diego. Orange County and L.A. are even more congested than San Diego. People are also much more gentle and friendlier in Denver. Less Rat Race energy. My Neice lived in Spokane, Washington for over 10 years. She now lives in Oregon.
@@patr70 yeh I love visiting home but could never live there again.. ( until I make my millions 😂😂😂) I live an hour or so north of Spokane near the BC border ( used to live on the other side on whidbey island in the sound, loved that!) it’s beautiful here... the winters are getting a bit old though ;) haha
Michelle it's not crazy. There was a scientific study on the subject of scents and memory. And it turns out that the olfactory sense is closest tied to memory. So nostalgic is a perfect descriptor.

I Love Portrait of a Lady! I had one of those moments of "Oh! This is different than anything I've ever smelled!" and went into a rabbit hole of discovering niche perfumery. I ended up with 185+ bottles and still have some on my wishlist. I turned into a fraghead basically. I watch you since 30K+ and am recently pleasantly surprised by you mentioning perfumes! I think to myself that it would be nice to chat with you about perfumes.
I am so going to get that Bobbi Brown bronzer!
