YES to the CT star aura Hollywood flawless filter eye quad. That deeper brown is just perfection, I love that quad so so so much! Her setting mist is one I’ll never be w out. I’m loving the Chanel water tint now that the weather is getting really warm, it makes my skin flawless looking. New Moon is fab, I use it as a topper on my cream shadows & it just adds a special something I can’t find anywhere else. As I get older in my 40s, the more luxury products I’m adoring. I would love a part 2 w more luxury brands!

100% agree that if you like CT Star Aura or TF First Frost for daytime, you will love PML Ritualistic Rose for evening. I actually use the top right shade in the RR quad to "jazz up" the more subtle shadows I have, during the day.
Dior makeup collections are notoriously released regionally, each region getting specific colors. It’s why you’ll find unavailable new product colors on ebay. Usually Asian markets get more colors and the U.S. market colors are always VERY limited/unavailable, even on their site. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Those Chanel potted shadows are AMAZING!!! I ordered New Moon because I heard it was being discontinued and I wanted to try the formula since people were saying they were getting a back up. I tried it today and ordered 4 more shades afterwards. I can't believe it held up on my hooded eyes with no flippin primer!!! I mean holy shit they're good! I hate that I'm just now dipping my toes in Chanel when they're changing everything.

For the Pat Mcgrath Lust Angeles, the only thing I have that comes close is Shiseido VisionAiry lipstick - Woodblock (warmer). On my lips, it appears similar to how Lust Angeles looks on you. Lipsticks really do register differently on diff skin tones 😊
Oh my how difficult it must be to choose only 5 favourite products & only 5 favourite brands! In your video you talk about choosing a darker shade of the CT Hollywood Flawless Filter. My advice is: do it! I bought shade 4.5 and it is just gorgeous on my fair skin (normally shade 2), and very natural. It’s like a day at the beach in a bottle!
Mothership one is perfection! It took me one year to buy it and I love it. A workhorse for everyday AND very very cool if you need a pop of colour in your life. I do also appriciate the huge amount of product in those pans. I have not bought a palette in the last two years!

The Chanel blush reformulation reminds me of the MAC Warm Soul reformulation. I swatched the two side by side and the colors were totally different. The new formula is good but I much preferred the original. I’ll never understand why brands reformulate beloved products. Anyway, great series Michele!!

I don't know why but everytime I see the Chanel duel ended liquid lipstick, I think of the Revlon colorstay old school same type of system that's still around today. Been around for years, apply the pigment then set with the gloss.
I couldn’t narrow down my Chanel choices to five products only even if I had to🙃 Apart from the blushes and the eyeshadows (which is how my love for the brand started many moons ago), I adore their complexion products- foundations, powders, concealers/correctors. My favorite is the Sublimage foundation, but my most used one is the Les Beiges tinted moisturizer- it’s my daily product. If that one vanishes- no, cannot imagine it even in a nightmare And the limited edition highlighters- those are just the best there are...🤷🏻♀️
Hi Michele, there’s this Dior lipstick which is very similar in color (& somewhat in finish) to your favorite Lust Angeles. It’s Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge in 823 Ultra Ambitious (comes in a red tube, the bullet itself is thinner than the regular ones). But I’m afraid that color was a limited edition, a fall collection or something. Anw, if you can find it, it’s veeeeery similar (I had a Lust Angeles lipstick, I could compare).

All kinds of drugstore brands have lipsticks like the double ended chanel ones. Covergirl, Rimmel and NYX are the best ones. Way cheaper for anyone looking for something like that not wanting to spend chanel prices.

I just wore and tried out the tom ford soft mate foundation and it wore so beautiful all day, after masks and in humidity in Houston TX. I'm probably getting my shades in that.

All kinds of drugstore brands have lipsticks like the double ended chanel ones. Covergirl, Rimmel and NYX are the best ones. Way cheaper for anyone looking for something like that not wanting to spend chanel prices.

Just wanted to let you know before I'm not a big fan of Chanel makeup because I'm more of a flashy full makeup gal, whereas Chanel's pursuing a chic everyday low key French vibe. But I start to get to know more and pick up some products from Chanel makeup line Because of you!! Can't wait to try Jersey blush lol!!!
