    That looked like you was holding a stadium light, as bright as it was. That was so bright that the camera just couldn't keep up.

      John do you happen to know if easy to replace lens on Thrunite tn42 v2? I was applying a yellow tint film to lens w heat gun and it cracked. I've seen bunch of ppl lighting fires with these monster lights, figured a heat gun would fine but somehow it cracked it

      Perfect engineering isn’t right
      I got it too, and suddenly the display said that it was charging while it wasn’t.
      It’s now back in China. But it’s a really big hassle to get it repaired. It has been there now for over 6 months
      But the flashlight is indeed a blast!

      Absolutely right! Even nitecore tm9k and others... also got problems!!! but just this some retarded reviewers will say imalent quality bad la and why does DX80 more on Flood rather than spot come on use common sense bruh it is 32k lumens what do u expect of it unless you yourself go buy cheap budget flashlight for spot only plus not that bright enough then compare can it take over DX80 brightness.
      Firstly DX80 is super strong light that can spread with combination flood and spot very well this thing can see entire in front of darkness to daylight like a stadium! price of course is expensive if waste of money not worth it can't afford it then don't talk so much.
      Yes DX80 will heat up very hot if stay quite long using turbo mode unlike those lower 8k lumens likely won't have any issues. Yes it will definitely heat up but not that really fast soon it will also u must know there's are few top company such as the Imalent ,Fenix ,Wuben ,Acebeam , Magicshine , Gemini Titan , Cateye , Lupine and many more..... All around the world companies create neither flashlight or bike light they are trying their best on their high quality Flashlight.

    GREAT REVIEW!!! EXCITING FLASHLIGHT!!!!!

  • @jpyrosky3825
    @jpyrosky3825 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hello Charles. Concerning this light in Turbo you mentioned to Peter Chatman that you had this running at 32000 lumens at just under 13 minutes in 41 degree weather. A few paragraphs down you mentioned to The Omfgorz that it lasted 5 minutes in the cool weather on Turbo. Would you please clarify? I am about to pull the trigger on this or the Acebeam x45. I am interested in run-time at higher lumens and this is very important to me. Thank you

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typos happen. The runtime is about 15 minutes. The light will step down to 13k lumens but can run at that level until batteries are depleted. I did a review of the x45 and its a nice light but runtimes are not as good if you're looking for the highest sustained light output then never use Turbo as a guideline when shopping for a flashlight. Thanks for watching!

    Charles I've watched at least a dozen of your reviews lately and was wondering if you still like the Nitecore TM28 the best of all your flashlights? I know you have mentioned in other reviews you like the Quad light layout best in terms of flashlight design. Is that because it offers the best compromise in terms of size, light output and weight? Thank you.

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Peter Chatman This light has excellent heat dissipation. Handle will only get slightly warm on the 13000 lumen output. 32000 lumen output is insane! Join my Facebook group forgive aways etc. at Flashaholics Anonymous. Thanks for watching!

    • @CalaisRider
      @CalaisRider 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That makes it a definite WOW flashlight. Heat is the enemy of oh so may flashlights including down-throttling of lumens.

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my tests it ran 32000 lumens at just under 13 minutes in 41° weather outside! Batteries were still good and still ran the light for quite a while afterwards. Thanks for watching!

    • @CalaisRider
      @CalaisRider 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      WOW - that is cool. 13 minutes is a reasonably good mark at such high lumens. The thing I hate about downscaling is that 3 minutes is not really what I'd call 32,000 lumens usable whatsoever (useless), but 13 -15 minutes is. Thanks for posting and giving me a reply.

    how many charge cycles can be expected with this, i read on the samsung 30q batteries that after 250 cycles it will only charge to 70%. i also email imalent to find out when the separate battery pack can be purchased and did not receive a response. do you know on either of these questions because that will determine if i will purchase this beast. thank you for your great reviews you are most helpful.

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      M Wills You can make contact with them on Facebook. 30Q cells have a 500 cycle life if charged at 500mAh or less. The wall charger is 19v at 2300mAh which will charge the pack from 25% to 100% in 6 hours. So it really depends on how often you charge it. If you charged it everyday then it should last 17 months... But if you are like me my light lasts a couple of weeks under normal use before needing to charge it which means the battery pack should last much longer. Thanks for watching!

      Nitecore TM06S is very nice but smaller than the ThruNite TN30, but I would take the Nitecore. Thanks for watching!

    I wish Olight would bring out their x9, if they don't hurry nobody will want one.

    Hey guys i am new with flashlights and i have a question, to blind temporaly an intruder is better a long throw flashlight (>1000 m) or a high lumen one (>25000) ? Which flashlight is better to blind temporaly two or more people at 1-3 m from you (A long range or a high lumen) or what i should iconsider is just the width of the beam? thanks

      Any flashlights with a 1000 lumens of output and medium throw would do. Specialy if you are in the dark and shine that to your attacker. I suggest the m1x striker from Olight. It has a strike bezel and an output of 1000 lumens. Or the new ones like the m2r or m2t warrior also from Olight. I hope this helps. 😀👍🏻

    Tell me please, which is the best Imalent DX80 or Acebeam DX80GT or Fenix TK72R ??? number 1, number 2, number 3?

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends on what size and output you want to carry around with you. As for size the smallest TK72R , then the DX80 for light output but not a small light. As for Acebeam I don't have that model. Thanks for watching!

    ok one question.i want to buy this light but hard to make my mind up between this light and the ms12 at 53000 lumens.i know the price differences.help

      @CharlesBridgTec  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well if money is no option and you don't mind size or weight then I would get the MS12, but if you want smaller and less costs then the DX80 is still an amazing light. Thanks for watching!
