Not really sure why you guys think it is a different game if Memphis hadn't of played UCONN and colorado in 2 days. Auburn had just played Iowa State and UNC in those 2 days AND had 6 hours less rest between their 2nd game and the title game.
@@bluffcitymedia There was a part where you guys said the game would've turned out differently, as in at least a closer score, if Memphis hadn't been coming off a close UCONN win and the game against MSU, I believe, not sure where it was at. If I misunderstood what was said, I apologize.
We said that due to the Tigers' depth, not in a comparison to Auburn's path to the championship. Memphis' depth has been and will be an issue moving forward for them. I do believe that 3 games in 3 days, especially with one of them being an intense OT game, accentuated the Tigers' depth issues. All that to say, Auburn was/is and will be the better team. Hopefully the Memphis Tigers continue to succeed, get into the NCAA Tournament and Auburn is on the other side of it!
@@beezyndee3034 yes you are correct. I was 12 years old when I became a Tiger basketball fan in the ‘72-‘73 season. I had to learn over the years and it is a maturation process, don’t worry about the opinions of people who don’t care about you. Nationally and segments locally view Penny as a person over his head and cannot coach. Also Memphis is viewed as a rouge program similar to how UNLV were viewed in the early 80’s. Are the Tigers perfect? No, no one is. Is Penny a bad coach? No He is someone more in the middle of the pack and he has beaten HOF coaches, some multiple times. I learned to try to not get too high or too low and frustrated. I always rep the Tigers every where I am because I’m a proud, but humble alum and fan.
I think the Tigers should use this as motivation and look forward to seeing them again in the NCAA tournament. Different results baby!!!
Auburn got a very strong team...Memphis is going to be fine this year❤❤
Hope those bench guys get better that's a lot of pressure for two guys
Same as last year played well then get to the championship and get blew out
Auburn is probably going to be the #1 team in the country. No shame in losing to them. Tons of lessons learned.
This team is not last years team

I’m confused. What are you saying?
@@bluffcitymedia Looks to me that Auburn had a much tougher draw than Memphis .
The whole tournament was stacked. That’s true. No one had an easy route to the championship

It’s not the 2-1 I have no problem about loosing but getting killed by 20 it’s not a good look
14. They lost by 14. Simple math.
They played their asses off against a team that will be #1 in the country... they learned a ton... this will only help them moving forward
Memphis ran into a very talented experienced team that's loaded with 10 seniors and 5 of those 5th-year seniors.
@@stevensheegog3942 how they judge Memphis and other teams is very different
