Hello! Welles and I had a big summer, making lots of music for a Telltale game that's (of course) not gonna get released now. The upside is I now have a lot of free time. So we're cooking up some things I think you'll appreciate. News on that shortly... In the meantime, here's my favorite from 108. I truly love this song -antimo
@Hannah Ivie I don't know anything about this new version of telltale starting up another season of story mode. in fact, first I'm hearing about it is from you! no one's contacted us about it or expressed any interest. They're bound to start releasing new games at some point, but I find it unlikely that it would be this one, given that they don't even have the rights to sell the old story mode games anymore. Much more likely that they're focused solely on wolf among us 2, since they have genuine former telltale devs working on it. But I must admit, I haven't been following the news/rumors lately so I don't really know.

I feel a bit more useful doing this, making comments on these videos, replying to them, and making long stories that are eternal, I love doing it. It gives me a use, unlike the things I do in real life. I feel useless in the real world, sometimes I wish I wasn't layng in bed, typing this, I wish I was in a different place. Not in a mansion, not in an expensive home, just in a place I belong to.

You guys are absolute LEGENDS. The Minecraft: Story Mode soundtrack is phenomenal, and I've listen to these songs for a long time, and I know each and every note of all of them. Amazing, absolutely amazing. I cannot express my love for these songs and for you guys. Keep making ambience tracks like these with that Minecraft tone, I love them! Can't wait for episodes 6 and 7!
There is actually still a chance for season 3, a company called skybound games has hired a bunch of the telltale staff back, and have started finishing the walking dead game. So who knows? They could also continue Minecraft story mode (which I would love).

Don't worry. You can still get the complete adventure of Minecraft Story Mode and the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft Story Mode (which has all the episodes downloaded for you) as well as the Netflix version.

I kind of feel like this track is very related to Harper. You couldn't have ever noticed this in-game, but there's a part in the uploads here that sounds very similar to at 1:39. Maybe that's just me, though

I have a funny story about this game on Christmas I asked my parents for Minecraft and instead of normal Minecraft I got this on cd at first I was pissed but now I'm happy things happed the way it did as I probably would have never played this beautiful game if i got actual Minecraft
Gosh, I loved Episode 8. Love the " Hunger Games " vibe in it. The soundtrack was great and this song I'm hearing is calm and relaxing. Just love the Episode 8 soundtrack.

Thanks! Unfortunately Telltale owns all this stuff. We pushed really hard for them to let us release this stuff everywhere, but they wouldn't go for it. I'm thankful that they allowed us to upload it here, at least -a

we're kind of wondering the same thing. we were in communication with telltale up until like a week or two ago, now it's radio silence. I am guessing they really have zero employees now. Most likely netflix delayed the release because of some simple bugs, things that would be easy to fix if there was still a single person around to work on it. I really have no clue though. Also, hi! We never wrote any music for season three... if they were working on it, they never mentioned it to us. We did write quite a bit for stranger things. Still debating whether or not we're gonna release that stuff. We could if we wanted to -a

I'm a big fan of minecraft story mode and I was just watching dantdm's lets play of s2 e5, and I recognized the Beacontown theme and remembered looking at the original song which made me wonder, how did it work with the music? Your work is great but I was curious, did they commision you guys through the internet or did you work at one of their buildings, if it was through the internet, how did you share it? Did you use a file sharing website or a private server? And what program did you use to make the story mode music?
Hey, Antimo here. Are you a composer too? Our story is basically right place, right time. My friends were in the band Anadel that played all over the Bay Area in northern CA. Someone who worked at Telltale happened to be at one of their shows and liked them. A little while later they got in touch and asked Anadel to write some music for the Walking Dead games (I think just for the credits initially). When they were working on Story Mode, I think they wanted to audition a few different composers, so they asked Anadel to submit a pitch. They were my friends and they knew I had a studio where they could work every day and they knew I played Minecraft. So we spent three days writing a few songs. We didn't know what we were doing in those early days and later on our team was just me and Andrew, who had played guitar for Anadel. We always worked remotely in our studio - actually I moved to New York after season one and Andrew stayed in CA. We used google drive for file sharing and would only visit Telltale HQ for meetings (later I would Skype in). We produced with Ableton, which was I think my biggest contribution in the beginning. If they had wanted to use Pro Tools or something, I think the music would've turned out totally different.

I've tried to use ableton before but it was a little complex and I had trouble connecting it with my launchpad I've tried to run a few launchpad projects before Edit: Also if you do see this I was wondeing one thing I got no official clarity on, the Escape The Maze otherwise known as the Three Headed Ghast Theme? I managed to find an upload of the song that's about 5 minutes long that has an extra part used in the game but in the Escape The Maze credits uploaded on this channel it doesn't have that part, is it from a seperate track or was it modified by someone else? Just curious
