I'm an introvert and love my alone time. My husband works nights so that's when I crochet the most and settle in with my pets. I enjoy NY time with my husband too, but we all need time to ourselves. I love I don't hear any back ground noise. No t.v. no phone no loud videos. I love quiet it's when I am at my most relaxed state. You have a lovely place.

The most pleasant thing for me about being alone is that my facial muscles are absolutely relaxed. Also silence is the greatest source of harmony.
I enjoy being alone (which is rare) and therefore I am hypnotized by these videos. Reminds me of norvegian train journey or knitting videos. I seriously think this type of video is how future television might look - slow and calm, 100% asmr!

I don't know how this became a part of my feed. The fact that I clicked on it is almost unheard of. I'm so thankful that I did. watching your channel brings down my anxiety when I get home from a long day at work. The channel also makes me want to start eating healthy. all your cooking is amazing
I’m always shocked at the amount of plastic/packaging at Japanese stores especially given how strict they are with their garbage.
I was thinking the same, a mother load of plastic. Even the veggies.
It is disturbing, but seems to stem from the national obsession with perfect clean food products.
The good thing about it though is because of the super strict trash collection policies, it's well sorted for recycling and incineration. It doesn't go into the ocean like all the other Asian countries ☹️

They recycle rigidly relax Hun. It gets remade and they are very adamant about sterile living. This is not only Japan but many countries practises. No litter is predominant if you view any Japanese walking tours. Not like North Americans and their littering habits. 🇨🇦
I don’t live in Japan yet. Planning on moving there in about 5 yrs when I retire at 55.
I’ve been coming to japan every 1-2 yrs since 1998. I’m married to a Japanese lady and we just got back from being there for 8 weeks. We haven’t been able to go for 3 yrs due to Covid closure. It was nice to be back.
Can’t wait for next year.
I love Japanese grocery stores. It’s so clean and organized and the ready to eat foods are amazing. We are in Chiba so our grocery stores are Shigenoya, Gatz and Sendo.
And the prices are so cheap compared to my city in Canada 🇨🇦.

I like it when you go grocery shopping. It inspires me to make new dishes. Groceries seem to be packaged in smaller containers there and are much less expensive than here where I live in Canada. Keep making your wonderful videos! I think I've watched them all. 😊
Fellow Canadian here, I envy the smaller sizes in the grocery stores in Japan. Sometimes I don’t buy something I want because it only comes in large portions meant for a family. Plus money 😂

Go back home when you can to be with your family....life is so short & they are gone to soon. I wanted to tell you I now do my dishes like you do by wetting & soaping my sponge without drawing a whole sink of soapy water. It is so easy to keep the dishes done up the way you do dishes, much, much easier than the USA way. Thank you, you are an inspiration!

I only love the man who never compares me with other women.
She works as a high skilled woman in a highly competitive career With University education in a very expensive world. The salary is commensurate to balance costs of living. You see only the minutes of reality about true prices daily. Also dearest, You need approval in spades to be employed in Japan with high suicide rates among office workers. Competitive employees native to Japan in her field also. Trained Engineer. Huge mental load.
Hope you speak Japanese know the customs, can be subservient but highly efficient, tolerate working brutal hours for years. Discipline is essential, personal time limited. Check statistics online. Hopefully it will make you see reality.Grass seems greener but fact is few are relaxed mentally. Office workers maintain long hours sleep little and suicide is common in Japan. Those who do not make the cut, are devoid of promotion in first year right out of University. It is tense work conditions for locals, nvm a foreigner trying to mesh in their society. I am so surprised at how little the food costs in Japan. In Canada it costs so much more. At least 3 times what you pay. You are lucky for that. Love your videos

The french toast with stewed apple while wearing a top that may have had french writing sewn across it, very interesting. Of course, christmas with winter, NZ has it in summer, but I lived in the UK for 4yrs, and found christmas something nice to plan and look forward to in winter. I'm amazed by the fridge size. When I lived in Tokyo in 2000, my fridge was on the floor and reached only to my knee. Very small tray freezer that barely froze ice.
She is taller than her fridge.
I forgot to mention a thought I had....many people like reality and many like fictitious I think I stick to youtube as I love to see others live their lives and can learn from this for example how others live in other country, their food, recipes, what they eat, what they wear and what they see and I think this is good knowledge so thank you.
