    Gutted, last September I set up a spring page and spent ages getting designs done and even paid 10 quid to link it to my website. Now my website is almost ready to attach spring to and now this. I have a massive audience that is crying out for merch here in the UK. I've had a nightmare trying to find a drop shipping company that's fast and affordable and easy to use. Looking forward to your videos about this sort of thing. Thank you 😊

      that's so annoying! Have you considered moteefe, or even a shopify store. With an audience of that size the £29/m shopify fee shouldn't be such an issue

      Go somewhere else with it, save yourself. They are a garbage company with a garbage reputation. They still can't even do the basics right after all these years.

    As a photographer I don't do typical graphic design tees. I do all over print clothing from my photos and digital art. And Teespring is the first company I found that has lots of garment choices for all over print cut and sew.
    Threadless only has a graphic tee and leggings, no sports bras, swimming trunks, joggers, etc. and frankly I don't bandwidth to run a shop my self and connect to printful or printify. So who do you recommend for all over print cut and sew?

    When I was first watching TH-cam videos about POD I was excited about Teespring but then they suddenly changed to Spring & did away with their market, and wanted influencer's to do all the work for them and lock out everyone else so I simply never had anything to do with them.

    Teespring was the first place where I started POD. I remember them removing my first true vector design that took me hours to make. It was about yoga in space with an astronaut costume, stars, and planets, and it had text like "I need more space" or something. I don't remember exactly. And they removed it because of trademark infringement. The trademark owner was a wardrobe shop/manufacturer. They didn't have any clothing in the trademark, just business. It was the first time I had fought over something like that, I wrote a letter asking how is this possible when they don't have trademarked it for anything else, and they simply said, "We cannot help you. A trademark is a trademark." I left Teespring after that.

    Teespring has a lot of nice features for the look of your store. Their clothing products are of good quality. The problem is the base cost, passing it off to your customers which reduces sales. So, I walked from Teespring quite sometime ago.

    • @shimmymorris1
      @shimmymorris1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that makes sense... the clothing quality became worse too

      @@shimmymorris1 I'm on many different platforms. Just started with Esty. Etsy has a stats page. 85 % of the traffic to this page came from my own website. Almost no traffic came from Etsy even with running easy ads. Explains a lot and proves that even though this platform has its own market place, sellers need their own website to drive traffic.

    my dad bought a shirt with my design to show off and the design that was supposed to be over the pocket badge spot of the front, but came out to be giant and in the middle under the collar, he still wore it out of love, but it definitely turned me off especially after sending multiple lower quality "premium" shirts that were essentially their cheap thin paper feeling classics.

    i just started POD 6 weeks ago. all i see is outraged complaints from longtime sellers. so where do you go if you want your designs in the search and not have to rely on your own social media to drive traffic? and make 2 dollars a design ? AND they want you to use an illustrative style and be super witty=yet if you look at what their top sellers are its very basic.any info prior to a month ago seems redundant.longtime sellers who have thousands of designs and in high tiers have a completely different perspective.

    I spent countless hours making designs on there website. Just for them to get wiped away the next day. I was so posed off and it wasn’t like the Design for offensive. They were completely original designs made by me. Then I saw how you have to pay Yearly for a domain. I’m currently trying to find a new Merch Site to sell my TH-cam Merch.

    Teespring deserves every bit of the hate they are getting since they got rid of their free marketing channels, SEO, marketplace, boosted network and google ads. They screwed over so many sellers who relied 100% on passive income such as myself and all the sudden sales became minimal and completely stopped. Back in 2014-2017 it was an outstanding platform until the terrible changes they made. Let them go bankrupt. They made their own bed and deserve every bit of it.
