Clinton Engine First Start

Jonah Beck’s 1954-1956 Clinton VS200 2-cycle engine is started for the first time.

I have a 1956 push mower with the 2stroke Clinton vs200 still runs like a champ they are tough motors I still have the original pull cord and wood handle somewhere I use it to cut the grass sometimes just to give the nabors something to look at

Hi, are you sure its a two cycle engine? The old stuff used to be four cycle (only gas, no oil).

Yeah it is. Well, I hope so anyway because that’s how we ran it. Haha

Mine is 2 cycle still has original sticker on it
