Wow, what an adventure! Your first time trying Malaysian street food must've been a flavour explosion. Can't wait to see more of your culinary explorations!

ahhhh Jonker Walk night market…my go to place when I go back to my hometown…
Malaysia is known for pasar malam (night market) that happens after sunset on different random days, it's awesome, I love it, but it's humid and sweaty with no wind, even though it's not raining. Hope you like the pasar malam in Malacca and Kuala Lumpur.
Night markets are the best. Malaysia's are great because they just feel like a place for locals to come hang out and spend time with friends, family and neighbors.
What a lovely experience and exploration at the Jonker Street night market in Melaka. Hope that you guys have had a good time.
FYI, the pasar malam, the open night markets are all over in the towns and cities around Malaysia.
Welcome to Malaysia guy's
Hopefully you guys enjoy the new experience here
Thanks so much! We’re happy to share our adventures and meet new friends! ☺️

We totally bought those baby deep fried soft shell crabs you guys came across in the beginning of the video. They're pretty bomb, if they're fresh. Definitely didn't see a lollipop version..🦀
Oh man, I would love to make a food video one day with you guys, where we choose market foods for each other to try. 😂
The lollipop… like, how could we not try it?!
That would be an AMAZING idea! Let’s find a way to make that happen… but you guys would probably pick some wild stuff we would never eat! 😂😅 Like eyeball salad or something.
@@mikeandashley Hahaha. You know us too well. 😈
We wouldn't be that cruel, but we'd 100% give you the freedom to pick the freakiest thing you could possibly find for us. No holds barred. 😂
Haha. Deal! I in turn give you permission to find the absolute spiciest thing on planet earth to challenge me with. 🌶️

Omg , carefull with that jelly stick (it's sharp made of rattan or bamboo) 😂 some people think it's harmless but when it does the trauma is forever ,
Anyway, by any chance if u come to kl, visit 1 of the longest night market , you'll never get that experience in other place .
Take care and be safe always ❤
Haha, she is a little reckless when it comes to fruit flavored jellies! 😂😅
We are working on our video from KL right now actually. It will be out this upcoming week.
We visited a lot of places in the city, but I’m not sure we made it to the longest night market. 😭
Thanks for the suggestions! And for watching our videos. ☺️🙏
@@mikeandashley ya, the joy for food make people forget others 🤣 there's more nice place ,if u're looking for some souvenir, cute handcraft or Malaysian culture type , it's within Central Market (pasar seni , easily using 'putra lrt' train transport )
Well now its going to be hotter and hotter, will be heavy rainy season again by next week maybe, it's Chinese new year eve , next month ramadhan starts, April is Muslim Eid , we got step by step or 1 by 1 eve coming, u won't get boring for a tour 😂 just stay away from a shop hiding their kitchen , then no problem 🤭
safe journey
💕
All sorts of celebrations coming up! Thanks so much for all of the information! We’re looking forward to sharing more of our Malaysia content.
I wish we were in Kuala Lumpur for Chinese New Year/Lunar New Year. Our travels take us all over and it takes us some time to edit, so these videos are post dated. ☺️ We will hopefully get to experience it in Malaysia soon!

Welcome to Malaysia. Do enjoy your stay. Do come to Kelantan
We have enjoyed our time in Malaysia! Unfortunately, we won’t have the opportunity to visit Kelantan. 😔
Mike & Ashley:Thanks you guys so much for this amazing video that was released from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia today’s in great joy @ the street markets to tried different kinds of delicious Asian street foods in Southeast Asia 2024❤❤❤
This video is actually from Melaka, we will have a video from KL coming out in about a week. ☺️
I am watching your amazing video today from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA in February of 2024❤❤❤
That’s awesome! We’ve never been to Philly, but we love their cheesesteaks!
You guys will definitely LOVE Philly or the “City Of Brotherly Love” if you guys come soon in 2024❤❤❤
We’re not sure when we could make it, but it’s one place we’d like to check out.
Red beans are the most vitamin, if you don't eat red beans, there is no way, the Chinese use red beans to cook soup to put rock sugar, coconut sugar can also be
We LOVE red beans. We even like red bean paste. But whole red beans in desert is an odd one for us, as we typically eat them savory where we are from. Beans have great proteins and fiber, so yes, they are very good for you. 😊
Welcome to melaka
Thank you so much! We have another Melaka video coming out this weekend. 🤗
It is not banana leaf. Bamboo leaf. Some food are wrapped in lotus leaf
Oh! Interesting. I thought she said it was a banana leaf. Now we know! Thanks so much for sharing. ☺️🙏
In term of spiciness which country more spicy , Malaysia or Indonesia 😅?
Hmm, I believe that Indonesia’s food is spicier so far. Some of that stuff was 🥵🥵🥵. We do absolutely LOVE Malaysian food though!
@@mikeandashley I believe it is Indonesia more spicier than Malaysia foods, as I knew some of the islands in Indonesia use overwhelmed 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ in their foods . I used to eat a lots of chili when I was young, but not anymore these days , especially when it's winter time in the US , spicy food coz my stomach hurts 🤕 when the weather is cold.
Oh man! That’s a bummer to hear. I hope I can always eat spicy foods. It’s my favorite.
Where in the US are you?
Are u guys married or what? And how old are u guyss
We are in our thirties. 🤫 And while we are not legally married in the USA, we are spiritually married.
If you travel to remote areas of Malaysia and meet someone who doesn't speak English or Malaysian even though they are a native, don't be surprised, even though the national language is Malay, not all Malaysians use that language every day.😅
don’t lie…I am Malaysian, all people here even in the remotes area wether they are Malays or non-Malays do understand Malay…in remotes area ofcourse everyone need to understand Malay, because we not use English to communicate in rural area even with Chinese or Indian…get your fact right
There are so many languages spoken all over Malaysia from what we can tell, but unfortunately, we won’t have time to experience more than some of the major cities on this trip. 😔
Nice video, will be nicer if you wear more covered dress like 99.5% of Malaysians
This is a good point! 😅☺️ We will keep this in mind for the future. We meant no offense. 🙏 Thank you for the feedback.
Like 99.5% of Malaysians? Are you even Malaysians yourself? Malaysia is a melting pot of cultures and we have no dress rules here, even alot of Malaysians wearing very short pants and tanktop on the street
@@mikeandashleylmao pls don’t listen to this troll. Your outfits are fine and not different from what half of the locals wear
