@@admiralackbar6586 yah I remember an interview where he said him and dime argued about the bass parts cause dime often wanted then to mirror the guitar but Rex would deviate in these brilliant ways that just emphasized the lead parts and served the song so well. They were all great arrangers in the studio, even Phil would come up with guitar parts that they boys would refine into real parts, they all came up with bridges, breakdowns, riffs etc.
