This is what we should we doing. A growth mindset that seeks to preserve our roots and innovate from the strong base! Better late than never. Let's inspire people to become a glorious Bharat that excels in every field in its own way!
Being himachali i always wonder our culture would decay with punjabi music, their heavy oil n cream based cuisine & tourism industry take by outsider.. But you my buddy give hope to humble himachalis that no we could still keep our culture alive & evolved in such way that it will remain authentic & modern enough to future gen... Shukriya bhai ji..
In Indonesia they have preserved all their traditional building styles and made drawings of the internal architecture and elevations. Am so glad that you are rendering a great service to India by conserving. preserving and reviving this building style so in tune with nature.
Amazing house. One observation is that those living in the hills can easily climb up stairs because they've been habituated and trained throughout their lives. I was amazed to see women walking uphill carrying loads of wood and materials on their heads. This is the best thing about living in the hills. I love how people in the mountains have used natural and locally available resources to keep their houses cosy and warm.
i know this architech seen his work in youtube years ago. instead of going like all into concrete buildings he did what was best to our nature and culture. bhushan ji hope is still left in india with people like u
Beyond words! One of the most beautiful and calming heart touching moments I watched after long time.. I have the same love and emotions for mountains.. Thanks so much Sir Rahul Bhushan, your vision and work is truly inspiring. Filled with pure true emotions of love respect gratitude to our roots and earnest need to restore and pass the same to our coming generations. Humble thanks once again.
Buildofy, you gave a reason to make us proud of you! This little cabin is much better than the multi-crore projects shown on this channel that have no personality or sustainability!
it feels like such a fresh air to see something so aesthetic yet sustainable in the world of concrete buildings. Feels like I found ideas for my dream house
Nature manifests people and assign them tasks that it wants to propagate. You are a force of Nature Rahul. Your team will get trained well and save many old houses, restore and preserve the heritage of the mountains. Shall wait for your book to get published. More power to you.
Himachal Pradesh is one of the top ten beautiful state gem of India. So beautiful scenic and nature escape, uggg my heart ❤❤❤ Pov Imagine the mental state of people living in such a beautiful place filled with naturesque.
I’ve grown tired of the flashy luxury villas and have come to appreciate the charm of vernacular architecture. There's something truly special about buildings that reflect local traditions, materials, and techniques.
The peace, the serenity that i felt in the eyes of your wife sitting in that extended balcony was ultimate. My dream home. Will meet u whenever I come to Kullu.
Superb architecture....👌 The guy has a immense level of knowledge of building materials.... , and the way he conveyed his massage to the people of Metropoles that size doesn't matter ... The ambiance matters to live a flourished life ...😊
Gud to see a Himachal Pradesh representative At buildofy ... Appreciate your vision towards saving our heritage and sustainable house... Only insecurity is when you have family kids their schooling... You need other facilities... It's Gud for vacations...
Sustainable architecture & building techniques should dominate today's world. Sadly they don't. This person's work is much appreciable in the context. Hope more people take inspiration.
This is one of the best projects here. I appreciate Rahul's take on environment and surroundings at the end of the video. Great Job Rahul and team. You have been true to the word 'Architect'. I Would love to connect with you whenever I'm in Himachal and know more about Architecture of the Mountains:)
Very nice and beautiful. I hope more and more people adopt the local system of building homes in the mountains as per that region. As a person who has grown up in the hills throughout my childhood, I feel sad to see many people just trying to replicate the usual city-style 'unaesthetic' construction even in the mountains. I hope that changes.
Loved seeing the video and very nice explanation to details taken care of in the Beautiful practical architecture .....looking forward to visit sometime Recently visited yuthok homestay at Raison near kullu
I love it. It has its own very unique charm. Hats off to you and your passion. Keep growing this passion, it is needed in this world today and into the unfolding tomorrows. Your understanding and knowledge will be needed.
Woww ❤ A wonderful combination of nature and technology ❤ Bravo! Kudos ! Its heartening to see today's youth to reconnecting with their roots🤟👌💯 em very happy to c u using ur local experience to ur area to create this beautiful unique house 🏡 u said the truth that what do we have to achieve by running so much ? Its better to live our life wlth nature🎉
Good designs but a very basic question to consider is the availability of wood required at this time. If you do it on a large scale there will be more deforestation
its an irony that we talk a lot about sustainable architecture incorporating nature, revival and yet companies bleed the clients in the name of revival
As someone who needs to visit the bathroom 2-3 times a night, this house is not for me. Having said that, most houses in the villages were like that with detached toilet. And one's body might adapt to the situations eventually.
This is to protect indigenous culture of Himachal Pradesh not for discrimination as there are some district in Himachal where even Himachali can't buy properties . Punjab government/ peoples himself offering their own land and that's why people are buying it.

Excellent balance, using time tested techniques and resources within in a regenerative context. A leader in our modern times. Brilliant

Wood is so expensive! In Pakistan at least. This is a main issue in natural construction:(

You can add bathroom both ground and 1st floor. That's not a big problem 😅😅

They come to Punjab and other states of India and buy properties but Punjabi or any other Indian cannot buy property in HP, this should be stopped.
