This old man did not create a house space...he just make a magic to regenerate. recreate …relive the mother nature along with every moment in the house. A very big salute to this great man.
Nice to see the legendary architect Sir Jaisim’s work here. I tried to intern with him in the late 90s but couldn’t get it. As an architectural student I looked up to his work as an inspiration. He named his studio Jaisim’s fountain head (from the novel Fountain Head). He practiced sustainable architecture even before sustainability was a thing. Nice to see he is still practicing and this house is beautiful and it will age well with the surroundings.
Wonderful to see all this. The real inspiration for all this was Laurie Baker who was talking about all these things was back in the sixties and seventies. Now everyone is aware of natural building materials and design. he was the pioneer, way way ahead of his time.
I have watched it 4 to five times, I feel so at peace whenever I watch the space he created. The architect transferred his peaceful mindset when he was designing this to this house! God, lovely!
Beautiful. Simplicity at its best. These days in the name of modern architecture and interior people have converted house into a hotel...But this is the house which everyone will aspire to live in it. Have a personal space..good time with family..I really love this beauty of South India.
Jaisim sir has always been an inspiration for many, I did internship under him 11 years back all of his projects are marvelous and a great learning for everyone
To build or create something along with close to the nature we need lot of brain storming, but Architect Krishnarao Jaisim Garu looks like a musician who made it like a great magic with a fantabulous. Greatest architect!! He is born blessed with talent with lot of patience who can create heaven on earth.
Wow!....... This House is absolutely stunning! So much thought, creativity, and care went into every detail. It's not just a building; it's a masterpiece!!!
We desperately need the architects and homeowners today who understand that a living space has to be ‘lived’ in consciously. Places where the exterior and interior collapse and coexist, and beyond that the inhabitants are concious of the landscape they share with various species of flora and fauna around, even the rocks; revering everything that Mother Nature has given the space, which you get to call home now, as alms.
In love with this house !!…...the material....the design ......the space.....the way it is in communion with the surrounding greens......breathtaking 🤗🤗
This is the only home I liked so far that's featured on this channel. No words to describe the beauty and energy of this house! Would love to see more from this architect. The point at the beginning was eye-opening - urban homes have to be boxy, but rural homes can be fluid with their shapes.
Such a beautiful home and so lucky are the owners . The architects do a fabulous job . I only wonder how the security would be, considering many open and isolated places within the house.
Respect for you all and believing in creativity, getting out of the ordinary leads to magic and masterpiece, may ALLAH make your home a peace of haven and serenity’s, great Salam from Algeria
How many maids are needed to clean this entire house and keep it tidy enough indoors and outdoors with in compound wall. we used to stay in a place with lot of trees in my childhood and if its not cleaned regularly, its a mess with all kind of insects, frogs and snakes coming over to take refuge. Practicality unfortunately is a collateral damage for every such home.
@@haruk2312 what’s wrong with that ? May be u have some trouble understanding what I meant due to cultural differences. Wherever cleaning takes a lot of effort, every household employed maids. What’s wrong in that. May be u r stuck with some mental block on what maid signify. If so, don’t read too much. Maid is a word used for house help at least in my part of world. Not sure what u r assuming it to be.
I agree as even I lived in such a house in my childhood and it needs lot of maintenance. My father loved lot of plants and unlike many architects who nowadays talk a lot about nature and only put plants and trees that are not indegenious and don’t look good, we had a mango grove, all kinds of fruits and all kinds of flowering plants along with few decorative varieties, it needed a lot of maintenance, lot of effort watering and cleaning. Finally when we went to class 10th and labour not available most of the plants died as maintenance not possible. As we didn’t have municipal supply we depended on our borewell. My father never used any chemicals or pesticides as he wanted to protect ground water from pollution. Earlier it was just us in that locality and everyone looked in awe at our home. But later as the area started getting populated the ground water depleted and all our large trees including large mango trees coconut trees died . Only survivor were two chickoo trees which are there even today. Also, the house suffered a lot from trees encroaching on the house . Even though the trees were planted at quite a distance from the house all the roots had come into the house and damaged all flooring. It is very sad to look at the house today as it costs a ton to even maintain it now with roof leaks nd all as the trees have done the damage. Also we don’t have time for maintenance as can’t get labour and can’t get as much leave from work to get it maintained. These practical aspect no architects will tell you. And yes by the way the house was built in mud. Another problem which ruined our garden and trees was that the land had very little soil. It was not rocky but little soil. Once my father ordered some soil for the garden about a truck full. That soil was infested with termites which we didn’t realise. That was another thing that ruined the garden and the house , especially the roofing of the house
@@hanochkodnaik8832 wow. So true. Good to hear ur story. Today everything became about looks and commercial mindset of making it sound great till it gets built / contract gets completed. But some of these issues you mentioned are because of mud house. If it was normal house, some of the issues could have been avoided. Anyway, I know what you mean by labour issues. Our society is full of jobless people but hardly anyone wants to work hard. I faced it lot lot many times. Only solution is to give the contract for demolition and reconstruction..,.
Sir I've watched this video and I must say, it wasn't just a video about a house or the architects who build it. It was an artistic imagination of the mind capable of conceiving and touching higher spiritual realities of oneself and manifesting that into an idea and into a reality. Not a single project on this channel has disappointed me but in fact, is way more than what an average person would think while first clicking on one of the videos. But this project sir tops them all so far... Having said that no one project is comparable to the other, they are all marvelous, the projects themselves and the people who capture them through their camera. Thank you for the joy and pleasure that you bring to us through these amazing videos. God bless.
My rented house is one with brick walls and red oxide floors- a Laurie baker house basically. It really is a different experience- the brick walls and red floor have such a strong personality that I had to design my entire interior décor to play off of that. It is limiting in a way- but the style that comes out of it is quite unique. I loved the Mondrian windows and the Hobbit like doors of this house but not so much the metal railings.
Unfortunately now artisans who can make red oxide flooring is very less, even the quality of oxide and 33grade cement which is ideal to make red oxide flooring is not available.
@@stocktrading5123 Yes now it may cost more to find that 33 grade cement & oxide than to get a marble floor :-) Its exactly like the black and white photos now costing a lot more than color photos 🙂
Very beautiful home sir. Amazing play of natures light inside the house. Like the concept how the cupboard is put behind the bed and there 360 degree space around the bed.
Usually I don't like such tedha medha walls and roofs....But this tedha medha is so cool...! I wish they would have..❤❤❤ incorporated some clips of construction roof more. that roof is so mesmerizing !
