Mostly due to contaminates breaking the seal in the gasket or plunger disc. You neec to clean out the top seal and remove the green cap from under the lid and button from top the push out the rubber sealer. Wipe that and the plastic under it with a napkin and reassemble, now it will work. I have to clean mine often specialy if vacumming food that gives off crumbs dust

Is ease when one sealer does not work ( shown at 7:50 and 12:40) to jump to another one, but we can´t do that at home, right? If the problem is always the demonstrator, why did not it work then?

Because the lid needs to be properly snapped on. Push it firmly at corners to snap on. I have these containers and they are good.

@@kerosene4751 No mate apparently some are defective. And according to so many reviews not just few. By the way if it is operator and he couldn't do it twice with same container then it is overly complicated to operate. If demonstrator can't do it why would average buyer think he can? Apparently this is garbage. Nice idea bad execution period.

@@hal9000xxl Not really. I still use these containers every week without a problem. The fact is that any vac-seal system will sometimes not seal the first try. I also have an older system from different brand, with old containers, and same thing happens. Every now and then it doesn't seal and you need to try again, clean lid, and re-position lid or connecting hose. Not a big deal.

my dimple goes down on the hard container but now it releases as soon as I take the sealer off. It didn’t use to! Any ideas ?

These work brilliantly and keep food fresh for weeks (I have not tried months yet). But I find it is very difficult to remove the lids once sealed.

So you buy things even not knowing what are they for? Compulsive buyer alert!

These containers do NOT hold a seal. They are NOT reliable. They seal sometimes, then when you need to open, they aren’t seal. TOO expensive, NOT reliable.

You need to make sure the lid is firmly on in the first place... push it firmly on all corners until it snaps closed. Also keep lid clean around the rubber seal. I would say they are reliable, you just need to use them correctly.
