Okay, my mind is blown. He said that he came out while working at the Utah Shakespeare Festival which is in Cedar City, UT. The crazy part is that I live there currently... And that after doing a little research, I realized I PERFORMED ON THE SAME STAGE AS MATT BOMER. He played one of the brothers in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" on the same stage that I performed on for the first time as an 8 year old. MY MIND IS BLOWN.

He went to Klein High in a suburb of Houston, TX! Interestingly enough, Jim Parsons who is also gay went to school in Klein ISD around the same time too.
I went to Spring High School which is in the same district as Klein. And we are the same age so we were going to high school at the exact same time, only 5-10 miles away... I would have transferred had I known:)

I think they do now, though... at least, I'm pretty sure there was an interview fairly recently where he talked about how it did take a while after he came out for them to come around, but that they've since become really great and supportive :) It just sounds like there was a really rough patch years back after he first came out, which definitely hurts my heart to think of anyone having to go through that.
