Lakewood, NJ mother charged in deaths of her 2 young children | News 12

A Lakewood woman was charged in the drownings of her two children - ages 1 and 3 years old. Naomi Elkins is being held in the Ocean County Jail. She appeared before Judge Scott Basen through a video link hooked up with the Ocean County Jail. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says Elkins was arrested after police responded to the family home along Shenandoah Drive in Lakewood. Her charges include murder and possession of a weapon.
