Stop the cap. There’s no way this lady is just as popular as Kaitlyn Clark.
Do you notice that EVERY single time they are forced to give credit to Caitlin--they MUST insert Angel in there, too...The most pathetic argument I have read os far is that Caitlin only became known because Reese did the hand gesture at her. Jesus Christ. These people will say anything to hate. Or that Angel caused the spiek in TV ratings. But they never provide numbers or data. Caitlin's effect has actually been quantified by numerous outlets. Not only as far as ratings but also in dollar value.
But the haters are just like females when faced with accountability. Like asking a female "Do women cheat?"....the answer is ALWAYS...."Men do it, too". Not a YES or NO. But a qualifier....to lessen the blow and not give full credit to the other side. Pathetic.
My question to it all is this: Did all those people expressing outrage over Reese's intro forget that she wasn't even the top draftee selected by the Sky to begin with? The outrage should start with the lackluster intro of the Sky's lottery #3 overall pick, Kamilla Cardoso... Get all of that out of their system - then turn their ire to how Reese was treated - assuming they really care about the disparity of the treatment between different draft picks.

No bums on seats = A failing league = crap pay for players. A player that sells tickets = Money for the league = better pay for players = red carpet for that player. Its not hard.
She just got drafted to the WNBA, please stop with the victim mentality. She was the 7th pick because graded as a 7th pick. She could be the best player in her class or be a bust. But guess what same goes for CC and all the ladies that got drafted.
The WNBA players are not going to get bigger contracts unless the league gets a hefty national and international cable TV package deal. That's why the NBA salaries are so big.
They should have had a fan base there for Angel. Her beloveth fans wanted tone there and should have been there.

Notice how whenever u talk about Angel Reese, u say 'I think', 'I feel' because u have no proof to ur assertions and u're just talking. "I think she's as popular as Caitlyn", "I think she wasn't picked earlier because of behavioral issues". But with Caitlyn u don't have to think of feel because numbers and dollars back up her legitimacy.
Also, Reese is a good player but thinking she should've gone 2nd before Brink and Cardoso is just foolish, Reese lacks a good post game, and her midrange game is bad. Cardoso is bad also bad the woman is like a 6.6 linebacker. And Brink is just better than both defensively by a mile.
I like Angel and she'll be great if she works on her outside game, but as things stand sge just isn't there yet

Camila just won the championship. Angel won it a year ago. Angel's a good player. There's been a lot of good players in the WNBA. Caitlin is transcendent. Angel might get online interest. Caitlin's delivered ticket sales. You can track directly the effect that Caitlin has on the ticket sales for the teams she's going to play.. Angel hasn't shown she can do that. The league never makes a big deal about welcoming rookies. Angel hasn't even made the team yet.
