- Caitlin Clark continues to prove he haters wrong by performing well in Women Basketball and treating people who disrespected her best responses. Despite Sheryl Swoopes having said negative things about Clark in February, she gave the best responses during her first post WNBA match interview. The legends have to respect Clark too!

For the first time drew more viewers than the men’s final. But if you take out Iowa games it was just average at best. This is a chance to get people interested in the WNBA. To me, it seems like all the negativity (especially from Sheryl) is just coming from a place of pure jealousy. Jealous that Clark is only a rookie and bringing more positive attention to the WNBA than they've done their whole lives. I met swoopes one time at a red light in Houston. She was very nice and didn't mind talking to a stranger at all.

I'm from Iowa, still live here, not to long ago Carver Hawkeye Arena was giving away tickets to womans basketball just to get people to come watch their games, then Catitlen came on the seen, she filled the stands not only in Carver but also in the opponent's stands. She is a white Christian straight female which is what I believe all this trash talk is about, I actually enjoyed myself watching her play, I don't watch men's basketball anymore because of the stupid over paid players that think they deserve more than what they do. She is a truly glifted young lady and I wish her all the best.. I never have watched a WNBA game before, but when she is playing I will... Go #22

If anyone wants to claim racism, favoritism, or whatever, then point to the media for all that. They're the ones who choose the ones they want to put at center stage. In the past it was Magic and Bird, and the focus and rivalry the media created between them boosted the entire NBA on the national stage. After them they chose Jordan and used him to boost the league internationally.
Now they've chosen CC, and if the WNBA and their players can just get out of the way, or even better, get onboard with the hype, then the medis will use CC to boost the WNBA to levels they've never seen before.
You don't have to like how the media works but if you want positive exposure then now is the chance to get as much of that as possible. And give your players some coaching and training in how to speak to the public, and in racism and sexism, and how to present a positive face to the world. The focus on CC and to a lesser extent the others in her class can help fix the public's negative perceptions. CC and those others don't talk like that, and they don't bring that negative vibe. Now's your chance to start over with the public. Don't wreck it, WNBA players!

I saw an old video where Sheryl Swoopes score 41 points. Some of it were medium jumper and its good and i notices once Sheryl receives the ball at outside she no longer thinks of her playmates. She don’t know how to make passes to her teammates.
