another thing my friend and I found is any spider egg can spawn infused spiderlings we did the hedge lad and on the disk we found 6 infused spider and we found another 7 deeper in the lad
What I do is I go to the red and fire anthills, (black anthill is too large and too spread out in my opinion) the sandbox for antlions, the hedge lab for spiders and especially the web sacs, the wood pile for termites and the web sacs under the tarp, the haze for the infected creatures outside as well as the spider cave, the stump for all of the ticks, the picnic bench for black ants and bees, and the shed deck for the dust mites and black ants. Some have more enemies than others, but by the time I clear all of them out, the ones I cleared out first usually respawn. Obviously I don't go to those places in order, but I stop by if I need more science. Side note: If you poison or infect the black ant queen, they still spawn at the picnic bench and shed.
Or you could just chill in one area like waft emitter or Mix.R with the luxury of a base, storage and wall mounts nearby. Whatever works for each player though
Why would you use both chopper AND Cardio fan? Cardio fan is good for button mashing. But if you just watch your Stamina and don't let it run out, chopper is good in itself and you can run peeper for 60% bonus damage. Tenderfoot Attack (armor/cone perk for 100% more damage against black ants) & Defense Event Attack (perk for 100% more damage during events, ie waft, mixr, smixr, java) can also be subbed in, dont need good armor for these buggers. BUT Dont do this. This is timed, is slow, etc, etc. If you want a stooper reliable way, use the waft emitter The literal fastest way? Slippers+Quickness+Natural explorer and do some laps around the lower yard

(pun not intended) They are completely invincible and the only way I found to stop it is to get out of render distance, lure them all the way to builds above the pond and drop them down to despawn them, or let them break the waft emitter. I've tried with all kinds of damage and can't seem to figure out how to prevent them from spawning invincible.

if you are on new game plus 2 using the pepper flake and implant weakness spicy trinket you are gonna destroy these idiots cause implant weakness makes any enemie weak to an element by 50%
I use the spicy coaltana event to farm raw science since I already did all mixrs but I get 2/3 infused larva before I let it fail or just fail and it takes about 2/3 minutes so not as good as this I think but it’s my best option right now
i just got ground for my pc and i have a world that i used on my xbox but ima restart and go on med and i havent even beat mild and i have to make a whole new base
Another method I would say that's good that's not as effective is using the widow gear and purging the red ant hill for infused enemies. It's not as good, and you can get Raided for making the red ants made, but you still gain a bunch of raw science and Trinkets from it.
@Paralyser I need to peep all creatures but I’m missing 1 and I got all ant baby and queens but I’ve tried peeping the crow and it’s not letting me. Is there anything I’m missing
wouldnt this work with the waft emitter too? maybe less because of the loot drop but it would still help with fusion crystals because they would still drop crinkles and infused goo
Very awesome vids man hands down my favorite grounded youtuber, ever since the update dropped there has been unkillable raid monsters every base raid. You are a wonderful advocate for the game you should let Obisidian know somehow so they can redo some coding in the next patch fix.
I mean Obsidian can easily patch this. They can make them so that they take no damage from you or make them not spawn infused insects after a while. Prob we need to look for other ways to farm just in case
I started ng+ last night and spent the morning farming the broodmother. It's a great way to get the materials to upgrade your weapons quickly. Decent amount of raw science too, 3,000 per minute roughly.

I may have gotten lucky but when I got mine I literally just went out an killed fireflies with dissection expert and I got it in one night.

fun thing to remember is that the WAFT emitter can also spawn infused enemies, makes farming a hell of a lot easier on your own turf.

Mine either, I just don't put up walls and the last like 3/4ths on the raid I just let them kill it and I just repair it and start again
You can't damage in mild mode, you have to be in medium or woah difficulty

Note: the creature doesnt matter for infused ooze. all infused creatures share the same lootable
You definitely have less chance on lower tier enemies. A mite doesn't have the same chance as a black ox beetle for example.

You have to be on medium difficulty or higher to damage the mix.r. You also have to have friendly fire turned on to be able to damage the mix.r.

I recommend farming the wasp queen for me it’s way easier and you only need 2 wasp queen ooze to make a fusion crystal
