You know you're dealing with a real chef when the person can cook AND engage in delightful, pleasant conversation.

I like the southern hospitality of the host. more 1980s/1990s sitcom invites with fun activities like cooking, please.

This is the second video of Jeremy that I watched and am really impressed. The more learn about him as a person, I push the celebrity image aside and admire him as fine human being.

Jeremy's mention of his alcohol abuse starting @5:40 is nonchalant but poignant. I found it presented as: yes, I abused alcohol for 22 years but it did not end me. Very cool.

I feel like I grew up watching this guy grow up and I love seeing him succeed at something he enjoys. Good on him. God bless and thank you for sharing this tidbit of extra talent he's able to parlay as a grown up.

He doesn't need to. He enjoys cooking for people and that's all that matters.

My guess is he's content living a more low-key life these days. He had his Growing Pains days and isn't really interested in trying to be ultra famous anymore. Good for him though. He's doing what he loves and that's what matters.

Carbonara was a really safe & smart choice. Good call, Ben! I recently came up with a veganized version of this dish & it’s so good!

Good to see he is doing well. It is a rare thing for child actors. And he is definitely an actual chef. His carbonara is pretty legit. The origin story of it is the only thing I take exception. It is probably the story of how Americans first tried the dish. But the Roman people didn't invent it for them. It is a traditional, earthy nutritious dish for coal workers ("carbonari" in Italian), dating back at least from the XVIII century. It was most likely the closest recipe they could think of when asked to cook with eggs and bacon (and for breakfast! It must have shocked any 1940ies Italian). Nonetheless, kudos for his knowledge and pronunciation of the ingredients.

I always wanted to know what ever happened to him after Growing Pains. Did he stopped acting?
