Thank you for the shoutout, Rob. Also, thank you for pronouncing my name correctly. Many people struggle with that. Regarding sharing information, I would love to host a "Community Hangout," which is similar to a conference call on Discord, featuring anyone who wishes to join and have a conversation about Hyliion all together as a community. This could then be recorded by anyone and uploaded to your channels, so that more people could join the conversation, thereby promoting Hyliion.
I'm gonna give you some tough love and take it as a constructive criticism. Inside portion of the Karno "the piston" Is owned by LIB. So yes, LIB was a major part of Karno. You can't say "it's not a threat" if you are not sure what LIB is.
I started writing a long reply of possibilities - but after looking at the Indian connection between LIB, Ashok Leyland, IndusInd and Hinduja - my head started to spin. The risks of going too "asset light" in today's shifting market 🤔 ... There's a short list (below) of alternative linear generator suppliers below if the worst were to happen with IIHL/LIB (not sure if all of them are viable as of this date or if they could scale to meet Hyliion's future demands - I don't think they have what it takes to design one themselves at this point - but also not sure at which point the LIB tech was available for sale - was it back at the time HYLN acquired the Karno patent - or more recently?): Aquarius Engines, Israel - Free Piston Power Pack (FP3), Pempek Systems, Australia - Free Piston Energy Converter, KTH Electrical Engineering, Sweden - Internal Combustion Linear Generator Integrated Power System, Xu Nanjing, China - Micromer ag (Switzerland) - Free-piston engine linear generator, Toyota, Japan.
