When Kathryn calls Ronald she says "Sebastian hit me and then he took off". I thought at first that she was lying... Anyway, that part of the dialogue should've been removed as well to make the story more coherent.
lol Both of them are evil. They are arrogant and mean and screw other people's lives up, which is why Sebastian wrote in his journal that shes like him after writing a whole rant about how messed up she is. ^^ That's why I love them together. Evil pairings are so much hotter than nice, good-boy-good-girl pairings. Also, love this scene. Sebastian on top of Kathryn gets an A+ from me anyday. XD
i love how in Sebastian’s journal, he wrote “My Love” on Kathryn’s page. i think he was really infatuated with her and saw her as some kind of inspiration to become a heartless monster. he said that he made a journal to serve as trophies for his conquest, meaning he wants to be who he is now. Kathryn served as a shove in the back to him since she’s the most heartless one out of literally everyone.
the whole point was to show ryan didn't hit her and that she lied about it. if they put this scene in ryan's death would ultimately mean nothing but since they didn't she indirectly killed him manipulating them on each other.
He really should've spat at her rather than hit her. Sebastian got his arse humiliated. It was only a matter of time before they turned their cruelty on each other. Kat did this out of pure jealousy plain and simple.
WHAT THE FUCK??!!!! they deleted this cene!! it changes everything this scene was supra important are they crazy?! why did they delete it???!!!!! so he actuzlly did hit her!
If they would have kept it in the movie they would have been justfying his death, although his death was justified because of Anette, but no way, it shouldnt be justified when it comes to Kathryn, it was good that it made it look like she was lying, I like the way they made the ending without this scene, the only way that it could have been better is if he didnt die, and yes making people feel sorry for Kathryn is bad
While Kathryn is evil, and deserved the hit (0:10). (0:23) This scene made Sebastian a lot more villanous, because Sebastian actually attacked Kathryn. Fortunately this scene wasn't include. However without this scene, made Kathryn even more evil, because the audience assumed Kahtryn was lying to Ronald and manipulating him to attack Sebastian for her cruel amusement.
yeah you're right with this scene in the movie poeple would have liked sebastian less, i know i would have. but what do you meazn when you say it's not even thie entire scene? do you know what happens afterwoods?
it's actually smart that they removed this because they didn't want sebastian to come off as abusive in the movie and they wanted kathryn to seem like more of a bitch, like she faked the whole thing to get ronald's attention to get back at sebastian, even though it seemed a little much cuz she already made him feel bad enough for the breakup with annette, but i guess they removed that scene to also show that her character deserved no pity whatsoever
Agreed, it was very wise decision to cut this scene. The whole point of this movie was to show Sebastian as reformed bad guy and by leaving this scene in the finished version of the movie the writers/director would not have only miserably failed at that, but would have also created sympathy for Kathryn that she clearly didn't deserve an ounce of. Once Kathryn manipulated Sebastian into breaking up with Annette and then shot him down, the way the movie should have left things (and did) was to have Sebastian forget about Kathryn who has brought out the worst in him and try to make things right with Annette who brought out the best, even if his chances of success were slim to none. I wonder what would have happened if Sebastian and Ronald didn't run into each other. What was Kathryn's plan going forward? Did she foresee the small chance that Annette and Sebastian might actually work things out (I seriously didn't think she ever foresaw Sebastian telling Annette the whole truth), so painting him as a woman beater and a rapist when he couldn't get his way using his natural charms would further discredit him and ruin his chances with not only Annette, but any other girl.
it's very funny because they didn't put the sound effect when Sebastian slapped Katherine...hahaha....so you know it's fake...glad they deleted the scene...movie is much better with out this :D

The point of that was to manipulate Ronald into doing her bidding.
Oh so he DID hit her.
Originally told yes but she deserved it

oooooooooh I thought that Kathlyn was liyin about Sebastian hit her.
no technically he didn't hit her-in the final product it is more inferred that she lied.
Shane Folan the thing I liked is that the boy hit the girl cuz normally it's opposite in theses movie

She took that slap like a Slayer.
I understood that reference 😂

Exactly.
Canonically, Sebastian did not hit Kathryn.
@@primalloveI did see this scene on tv once
I agree, btw it has been 15 years since you commented how are you doing?

damn. This should've add this to the the movie
I swear the first time I saw this I remember this scene in maybe it was on tv version
WHAT THE FUCK??!!!! they deleted this cene!! it changes everything this scene was supra important are they crazy?! why did they delete it???!!!!! so he actuzlly did hit her!
Something tells me that either the creators got cold feet about making Kathryn more of the anti-hero or their hands were forced.
@@justschrI saw this on tv
wait no I want to see where this goes.

Thank God that this is not in the movie.
they totally should have kept his in the movie. wtf? are there more deleted scenes?
Esta bien que no se haya mantenido la escena, Katryn nunca fue violenta siempre fue calculadora y un golpe no va con el personaje.
wow that was a waste

They should have kept this in the movie. She challenged his ego and he didn't like that

They are talking about the characters-- not the actual actors.
0:28 was she about to kiss him?
i wish they would've kept that scene...Kathryn really had that coming

I don't disapprove your comment. I disapprove the fact that your mother gave you life. Now, eat my bloody shit you spoiled little bitch.
still glad they deleted this though.

that looks really stupid, i'm glad they didn't put that in
MEEEEEGAAAA OWNAGEEEEE!
Sarah Michelle Gellar is a terrible actress.
not in this movie she's not, i think she nailed that role brilliantly.
Yes, well... better that than being a terrible nobody.
