Yeah, sorry about that! Which Nick has always been an audio maestro, I was still learning. Eventually I'll remaster the older videos, as I kept my old audio.
@@TheBotchPit Glad you're taking in the criticism. I really enjoy listening about the WoD lore. I never got to really play the tabletop game, but I read through several manuals just for fun during high school, the world is fascinating. Mage is my favorite!
The way I see it is, if you cant take criticism as a compliment, you shouldn't be putting yourself out there. It means you want to listen to us, but there's stuff that makes it hard to. Fortunately Nick got me to where I need to be, but even I cringe when I listen to the audio quality of my original videos. Lol
Mage was my original favorite, but Geist 2E has taken that over.
Anything specific you want covered?
@@TheBotchPit I really enjoyed the other Mage video,basically talking about character creation and maybe ideas for introductory scenarios and mechanics- new Mages learning about the world of darkness. Doesn't have to be just Mage,any WoD rulebook could work:)

When you described the themes of matter arcana, I started thinking of Shirou Emiya, from Fate: a mage who's whole shtick is creating swords.
So, did you go in alphabetical order? Because I would have grouped them in there proper pairs so you could more clearly explain the different supernal realms and why each of the arcana come from where they do..
Aside from the audio mixing, the only complaint I have is that some of your pronunciations were kinda wonky. Specifically arcana, thaumaturgy, aether, and mana. Literally just a personal thing with me though, the video is super informative for a first timer like me looking for info.
To be fair, this is one of my (Chris) first videos before I knew almost anything at all about recording, and didn't even use a script. I'll likely revisit this soon. But thank you! It gets vastly better. Lol

@@TheBotchPit I'm just comparing you to your "competition". If everyone was doing only audio podcasts, there would have been no need for my comment. Unfortunately for you, YT is a video platform with production quality rivaling mainstream TV. You are not going to thrive on it if you just post audio tracks with your channel logo. But do whatever makes sense to you. I won't stop you ;-)

YT is a public platform. The video has open comments. Why attack the messenger? Just focus on the message. Was the message mistaken? In what way?
In the last 3 days I've been checking some WoD content on YT from different channels and I can tell you that this channel is probably the lowest effort endeavor I came across. People like you make The Botch Pit think that they are doing great.
Hello, my name is reality check. Teenagers have been filming crappy game and gadget videos 10 years ago. Since then the quality levels of YT content have skyrocketed. Even the vast majority of podcasts on YT has video. It's 2020. Our smartphones are shooting 8K videos.
But go ahead, tell this channel that they are doing grrrreat! In 2020 everybody gets a medal for participating. Don't mind the low views, Jura says you're doing just fine.
