What I like about your videos is you guys are real and are both just being yourself. Some other vlogs on on here can feel a bit superficial. Enjoy your vids 👍
yeah thats kinda the idea brother! we just record raw video and capture it as we see it :) we have been doing this style for a long time. appreciate the feedback though Steven! hope your having a good day bud.

My late sons former wife is Irish born. Very positive, lovely lady. Not at all negative! So it's not just an Irish thing, though there are plenty of Irish stories about!!
The trip over to Waiheke island is well worth it. Take your car for about $130 return. Vineyards, cafes, bars, glorious beaches, stunning views and a more laid back vibe. You can freedom camp for two days and airb&b or camp ground for some more time. Also the west coast beaches are well worth a day trip totally different than Auckland's east coast, wind swept black sand and wild surf .
When you were talking about having to drive around on your learners, that big tower over the road is literally the police headquarters of New Zealand. Found that kinda funny.
Nice video clip publicate TH-cam i am so happy see Auckland because lots my family members live there congratulation for brought car ❤❤❤❤🖤🖤🖤👋👋👋👋👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🙏🙏🙏
Winter without snow ❄️ What the heck, lol The steering wheel on the right feels so much different. Hope you guys will get used to driving on the left side of the road, have fun.
Yeah we had really nice weather when we arrived plus it doesn’t snow in Auckland in the winter haha. Also in Ireland we drive on the left also so it’s great!
hope life is good on the other side my friend! We think the prices are pretty insane compared to Australia, Ireland and Germany. at least more then half the price for goods in these countries. But lets not compare as we can't really due to the fact nz is quite isolated from the rest of the world so it makes sense.
A bit late with this advice now! But the same freedom camping rules are there for Kiwis also. So if we are expected to follow them, so then do you. More positivity please Glen!! 👍😱
In the 70s as a kid we use to live on Rangitoto Island and we lived on Manuka honey from the bees there. No additives pure honey from the hive. I bought a jar of it years later from a supermarket, one spoon of that and it went in the trash.
Love watching your videos! I'm heading that way on a WHV in October and was wondering what you guys thought of the process for the bank account and IRD #? Did you like the bank you chose?
yeah no issues with the bank we opened! was a pretty smooth. basically just need a prove of an address so I would consider getting an airbnb with an address so you can use that. you can also probably use your IRD record as proof of address. I basically signed up for a phone provider and got them to print me out a phone bill with an address for me.
@@GlenAndMado We simply have to, cities have been allowed to sprawl and public transport was curtailed and curtailed from the 1950's onwards. All the railway branchlines and their passenger trains and railcars, all the city tram networks, just ten years ago Wellington took down their trolley buses to replace them with diesel and battery buses.
@@homayuns2165 thanks for the feedback and info about it my friend. Yeah it’s in decent shape but we’ll make it nicer and clean it up and sell it in 9months or so
A 2005 Toyota Tarago (people mover) in Australia is currently worth between A$4000 and A$12,000 depending on its condition and level of trim. The market in Australia is a lot bigger than NZ so there is more choice. Sometimes the best way to pick up a cheap camper in Oz is to buy one from backpackers who are leaving the country they will advertise on backpacker facebook sites or on hostel notice boards..
Eating out in nz is at least 40% cheaper than in most of western europe really not sure what you’re comparing it to? Average meal in France, NL , Belgium etc is at least 15- 20€ at a random place. You said on the first day food is more expensive when you didn’t even have the chance to have a proper look at average prices. Just keep in mind he is misleading you about eating out so don’t be scared if you re coming from Western Europe! (Fresh poduce in supermarkets are more expensive however)
