As a fellow 6’6 person there’s no shot I’m standing under a lift working on a car longer than 5-10 min my back is wrecked from being bent over the whole time
No seriously would be cool if it had a little bit longer than 20 minutes but you guys are so busy I understand it's hard work to make great content and it's a lot of filming for 20 minutes pretty sure it's a lot longer but the edited version down to 20 minutes is probably like three hours worth of work

I love that the GMC is now a side project just for looks because even with a complety new ground up platform, new engine and the works it was still slower than the F-150 Smoke Em with a super charged coyote and it could barley make a pass turned up.
You gotta remember tho that the red one was for a giveaway where he never goes all out to be safe for the winner and the red truck was no where near close to where they could have pushed it

They started pushing it and the axles wouldn't hold and it was hopping like crazy. So instead of rebuild a whole truck since it was on the giveaway timeline, they turned it down and just shot NOS. If you watch the first video, the conditions where, "for the same price, beat the F150" because Jackstand and George where sure they could dot it. At the same cost and a whole new truck platform later, they ran into limiting issues that made them turn it down. Sounds like it wasn't faster
@@Dukes3677 the engines are neck and neck. The GMC platform couldn't keep the axles underneath it anytime they turned it up. Also, they had to build the platform ground up because you can't buy it from GMC. I am comparing truck to truck

Ok, crazy and probably impractical idea: do a race duramax build, specifically with the 3.0L. I have yet to see one of those be used in a race environment, but the engine's architecture seems like it should handle some power. Not sure how long it would last, being made entirely from aluminum, but would definitely be a fun experiment!

Jackstand, get that whiplash looked at if you haven't already! I had to get a disc replaced in my neck this year @ 34 from getting rear ended in traffic 12 years ago. It doesn't take much and I wish I had gotten it looked at sooner.
