    Katie def seems to look forward to her treat for having each baby! She wanted the placenta ASAP! I know I had seen one of ur other births and I don’t think she wanted one until the last baby (I think maybe there were only 3 born with that one and she was a 1st time mom).

    She's having a very easy birth

    Is it normal to “help” so much while she is giving birth? I have no clue so it’s a genuine question. I have a goldendoodle and he is the BEST dog.

      she prob could had done it on her own, but I feel that I should and can help out as much as I do, because she already is doing so much! my mommas like the held and I think they dont get as exhausted and are appreciative of it!

    Such precious babies. The birthing process is so beautiful. You are so tender with Mom and babies. Do you have to supplemental feed with that many babies?

    • @SilverCreekGoldendoodles
      @SilverCreekGoldendoodles  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i will only supplement if i have any pups not gaining weight. so far, each puppy is gaining an ounce or close to it EACH DAY. this is more than some of my other smaller litters each 24hrs! super surprised!!

    How long did it take for delivery?

    What size pool are you using? Do you tie off the umbilical cord?

    • @SilverCreekGoldendoodles
      @SilverCreekGoldendoodles  ปีที่แล้ว

      this is the medium size pool! either from walmart or the dollar store! its not the super large ones (even though those are great! just hard to store) but this seems perfect for the first week or two!

    • @SilverCreekGoldendoodles
      @SilverCreekGoldendoodles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      also, i dont tie off the umbilical cords. i clamp them with the hemostats, leave it 10-15 seconds, then remove it, then check for bleeding. most of the time, it only takes one clamp. if it starts bleeding, i just clamp it again and leave it for a minute or so
