Plus, her animations are janky and unpolished, even in the pmex remix or cobalt versions. Compared to Knuckles, that is. I still remember back when PM's development was ended and later when I heard about how Lyn and Knuckles were in the works beforehand I was very saddened that we'd never get the chance to have them finished in a version of PM and while it's nice to hear they went back and finished Knuckles, it's a bit sad as well to think that Lyn was dropped entirely as a plan to be finished, like I understand the choice for going for Knuckles over her, but I like both characters quite a lot so seeing one left behind does feel kinda bittersweet.
Lol FE fanbase forgot the character? What? She keeps coming back in some way and is still a fan favorite. In Heroes she got a lot of rekins in the early year of that mobile game and she's getting a figure this year.
Lyn deserved to be playable in an actual Smash game before the Awakening Trio, Corrin and Byleth, she has her fans and is a Protagonist of the first game to get localized.
Lyn is a sick character design. I'd imagine she'd play like shiek but with a sword and some kinda clone feint attack. In the og game she gets like no strength but a ton of speed so she should be a fast combo character.
I seriously love this Sacean Babe, she’s in the same boat as Waluigi, Shadow and Isaac, always being snubbed to Assist Trophy status but hopefully someday that will change. Lyn is indeed very important being the protagonist of the first game to be localized. I main her in PM Remix.
No! Lyn should be put in P+. She really could use the love and I would love to see the roster of P+ expand further. I would love to see more original characters in these official mods.

If youre a 3d animator who can animate in blender, and is willing to do lyn, check out the brawl modding discord and maybe the project plus or pmex remix discord! Im sure people would be willing for animators to help polish lyn with the same love they gave knuckles. mewtwo and roy too. their models are ripped straight from melee and mewtwo's entrance is literally his side taunt so yeah creatives are a cool thing to have.

The only thing that I hated about lyn was that she would always steathe her sword after every attack/move... god damn, did this steathing sound annoy me after a while...
she looks so fun to play ;-; i would've loved to get a lyn like this instead of the new fire emblem characters in smash 4! it's crazy that they made a whole new model for her instead of using the assist trophy model for brawl too, it looks so good!
o0o0ooo a new down-b. I kinda hated some of her original moves and some iterations of her as it became more and more less canon, it became more -anime sword girl who plays like falcon. I like the down-b. I like the idea of making of making everything into a rekka as if you have enough agility in FE you get multiple attacks per interaction. I just wish her up-b wasn't just large dolphin slash, mainly because its ass on stages with low blast zones and its a waste of what could be a cool canon attack.
I still don't know why she used electricity in some of her attacks in the leaked builds. I wish I could've met the OG Lyn dev and ask him questions about that character. I do like the idea a lot though, and Lyn is really fun from the average standard FE sword character.
