Did you know you could use your voice to control your Insta360 X3 action camera? It's a really easy setting to turn on and you can voice voice commands to start a recording on the X3, stop a recording, take a photo and even turn off the camera. This is really handy if you're filming when the camera isn't easily within reach, for example when you have it mounted to a bike helmet. It's even handy while the X3 is on the invisible selfie stick.

I'm looking to use thus for a dashcam/cycling for security purposes. I thought thus might be a great idea until I realised the possibly of someone else telling my camera to stop recording or turn off. Thus example can be in an accident,argument, police interaction. I really think they should off added in the 'insta' in the phrase, e,g "insta start recording". Could be the difference between playing safe

Good point, but luckily you can turn voice commands off so it wouldn't be an issue :)

Voice control on the X3 is not working well, even useless for outdoor sports. Other action cam do a better job on this.
