You know some of the Comments here are so mean from my Fellow South Africans, one wonders why have so much hate for Other people?Africans from other African Countries, You say you dont like Illigal immigration right?? But why insults good Legal immigrants in South Africa ?? Home Affairs is the most important department in every Country all over the world, It is not only South Africa who have Immigrants in their Country, Countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda ,Botswana ,Europe , America ,Canada etc have immigrants of all sorts, Including Black and White South Africans , And when Foreigners do make Videos about this Countries, No nationals of those Countries are all over those videos Insulting those Foreigners. As a Black South Africans who normally Travel, work and live abroad ,l fell embarrassed that my Black people in SA are Mentally Backward. It is very sad, There is no Obssession about South Africa because Good people live here and loves it. And they are not here forever. So please my People your no Better than other Countries, because if you're, you will not be here Defending Nothing ?? Instead you will appreciate. Stop Insulting people , Some South Africans here dont have a problem with Good Immigrants like Tariro.

You need to weigh your options dear. Even if you can have PHD, are you aware that you cannot automatically get a job? For instance, you go to interview and its 2 of you. One from SA and yourself, first preference will be given to SA. So you might end up spending more time looking for a job even though its critical skill. Remember SA has 28 Univesities so each year graduates are being produced from Bachelors degree until PHD. So the competition is tough

Many African immigrants are going to face a tough period given the home affairs is headed byDA. The democratic alliance is prioritising immigrants who have skills who mostly are of European origin and those who want to establish businesses in south Africa.most immigrants in south Africa have low skills that ordinary south Africans have particular those from the continent.that could pose a threat on migrants from the continent.there is a growing anti immigrants sentiments across the world look what is happening in the UK migrants are sent to RWANDA because British are now complaining about the number of immigrants entering the UK from other countries which put strain on the UK fiscus and services like housing, health care even on jobs.as the continent of Africa being afraid to challenge our governments is no longer an option if we don't it means even the generation that is coming will face the current problems.zimbabweans can no longer be complacent and afraid of the regime south Africans have had enough hence whyEFF was rejected in the elections that is why ANC has been voted out and that is why Political parties like PATRIOTIC ALLIANCE will grow in SA.what is happening is not unique only to south Africa but even in other countries like FRANCE .

You either suffer from colonial mentality,or you're suggesting that the D.A is a racist party that's going to prioritize immigrants with critical skills from Europe, over their African counterparts. For your own information Europe and the US are relying on immigrants from Asia and Africa to fill in critical skills positions in their own countries. There are not a lot of Europeans or Americans workers with critical skills who are dying to come and work in S.A, they are making way more money here than what they will be making in S.A. Africa has a lot of highly skilled workers, and a lot of them are going to end up in your country.

Tariro, the minister has explained why there is badlock on spousal, critical skills, PR and asylum/refugee visas. There is too much corruption and under funding from the international community. If the minister cannot resolve this two factors, forget about progress that I can promise you. That is the same things that the previous minister was struggling with. SA does not have the financial capacity to deal with migrant like before and corruption is also exarcebating the situation.

Companies should be taxed for every foreign national they employ. We have skilled workers in South Africa who are currently unemployed and struggling to find opportunities. South Africa is experiencing a brain drain, losing valuable talent to other countries. How can we expect a South African to compete with an American, European, other African or Chinese worker if they are not given a fair chance in their own country?
Japan offers a valuable lesson for South Africa. The Japanese workforce policy prioritizes its local talent, ensuring that their citizens are the first to benefit from the country's economic opportunities. By adopting a similar approach, South Africa can empower its workforce, reduce unemployment, and foster economic growth.
Let's prioritize our own skilled workers and create an environment where South Africans can thrive and contribute to the nation's prosperity.

Do not think it should be your responsibility to control how people respond to situations they are uncomfortable with. People have their own personal experiences and reasons why they react in a certain way. If you dont have a problem, it does not mean that everyone else is happy. My advice is go take their birth in Lesotho coz I think SA law says even though a child is born in SA, the child takes the status of the parents.
