So I have adv shopping campaigns with 25 usd CPP. About 200 usd a day. About 8-12 purchases. Roas about 8-10. Campaign is running for a month or so. I was thinking of duplicate this campaign and setting cost cap for like 10-15 usd (with basically unlimited budget) I would run those two simultaneously. The idea is thst if there is a chance for cheaper CPP then meta ads would use it to the maximum and the daily budget wouldn't limit that. What do you think about this? Will the duplicated campaign with Cost Cap would harm the original campaign? .
So basically the idea of cost cap is to tell facebook that it should get you a purchase at / or around your cost cap? So if your cost cap is $30, then facebook will try to get you all the purchases at an average cost per purchase at $30 or below that, if I'm right, then what's the difference between cost cap and bid cap?
I just watched your video here. Looked through the comments in case any one asked but didn't find any. My question is about the attribution setting. Do you leave it at default 7 day click 1 day view or just 7 day click? When I leave at default I get a lot of 1 day view conversions that I cannot trace back to my sales dashboard which makes me feel it's just vanity number and not real sales. Any insight here would be appreciated.
With this strategy, how do you recommend going about testing new creatives? Start running them with a high cost cap for a few days to see if they get any spend?
So we test at times using landing page views campaign at a super cheap budget, then taking the winners and putting them in highest volume, cost cap, bid cap. We're using the client's CPA as a baseline for kill
Quick question🔉.Suppose our Breakeven CPA is 1000 rupees(Pakistani currency) so what should be the Cost per result goal and Campaign budget.I heard from other video that add 20% in your current breakeven cpa and set it as your Cost per result goal + multiply your actual breakeven cpa with 3 and set it as your daily budget for that Cost CAP Campaign.
Work backwards from the goal. If you want to make “x” amount of dollars, determine your average CPA, multiply that number and that should roughly be your budget.
@@ChrisMarranoso i lost my past account which has a cpa of around 18 dollars now i have a new account can I just set a cost cap of 18 and do you think it will run smoothly?
Going to dip my toes in cost cap CBOs. What is your recommendation on daily budgets? On bid cap strategies, I've heard to set a fairly high budget to leave room for FB to start spending. In my case I'm currently spending around 1500 per day in my ABO test adsets combined, so I was thinking of setting the CBO budget at 3-4x that amount to ensure the cost cap starts running (if the bid is set correctly). Would you agree? Thanks!
So you definitely want to run a multiplier but make sure to keep in mind that cost caps are going to average out over 7 days so chances are it will spend. Bid caps will be tighter and most likely not spend
can we have multiple ASC campaigns with CC. Wont be compete with each other? Like if they wont, i would ideally have 8 ASC campaigns all with CC provided the creative is solid and they are spending?
Thousands per day. We consistently test "highest volume" vs. cost cap. We do see similar results on highest volume, but the consistency isn't there. We are always consistent with cost cap.
Hey man great content. I have a question, my costcap is only spending half of my daily budget. Should I INCREASE MY COST CAP, or just try to LAUNCH NEW CREATIVES and find a creative that will work for the current cost cap I have?
So if my average CPA after getting 100ish conversions was around 18 USD can I confidently set my goal of capping my CPA down to 18 or even 15? What cost cap should I set to in this case??
How many conversions should I have on my pixel before I start using cost caps (I know you said more than 200, but what specific minimum would you suggest)? Also, my profit per sale is $150. Should I make my daily budget 3x the cost cap, so if I want to spend $100 per purchase, my daily budget can be $300 a day?
So my daily spend on a womens clothing brand is $50 a day, do you recommend creative testing via traffic campaign. Secondly i wanna ask you that I know what is cost cap but how does it lower the cpa goal just by lowering imp dosent mean goal gets lower
How much money does it cost you to get your products from the manufacturer AND then add in the cost it takes you to deliver your product to your customer. That's your break even. (otherwise you're losing money)
Hey, I really appreciate this video. I sent you a DM on twitter with a question. But just in case responding on TH-cam is easier: Currently I've been combining all of the different countries I target into one ASC+ campaign. But I've realized that this is leading to only a few countries getting majority of the spend. Would you recommend separating regions (not countries) into different campaigns, or continue to keep all countries in one campaign? (By regions I mean US/CAN, UK/AUS/NZ/IRELAND, etc.)
If you're running an advantage+ I would recommend splitting them and testing based on the results. If you're doing ABO, I would structure them individually until you find the best results.

Hey, i would like to know what was the results after you tried!
Should you turn on cost per result in the existing campaign or should you create a newer one by duplicating it?
Great question. Duplicate your top performing campaign and set it there

Correct. Cost cap is averaged over 7 days but will spend the money. Bid cap is set in stone, no average. It won’t spend at all
How to set the proper cost cap initially? How do we know that @@ChrisMarrano
@@directajith you need to know what you can afford to pay to acquire a new customer. That's key in all of this
Great stuff. When does said window starts and ends? Is it Sunday through Friday or the moment you start the ads or something else?
Great question. It's from whenever you launch the ads. I wish Facebook would work on a calendar week, but it's from the time you launch.

yes, 7-day but then also look at attribution columns in Facebook to get a bigger picture.
This was awesome but my man can you help me out with figuring out how to know what amount to keep as a starting cost cap

Honestly, I would wait even longer. You can try it but the pixel might not have enough data to really deliver the lowest cost per purchase at 200

If they’ve worked in the past, you can absolutely test. The problem can arise though that you run out of people in the audience.
So initially all campaigns should run for maximum volume, to understand the cpa , right?
Yeah, if the account has zero history, defintely start with highest volume

cold traffic! We generally run highest volume campaigns on retargeting/warm traffic. We run cost cap or bid caps for cold traffic
