    Fantastic swim, but it's only half true, Dressel at the 2018 SEC championships lead off the 4x100 free relay in 40.87

      @Matthew Stephenson quite literally genetics. Yeah he obviously works super hard and eat well etc. but to be that fast at such a young age is largely genetics.

      @@startledmilk6670 that’s the thing I’m from texas I’ve swam against Maximus and know how he trains and eats and he doesn’t train that hard and or eat that well. So that’s what I question

    • @startledmilk6670
      @startledmilk6670 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@matthewstephenson8277 ah then that’s pure genetics my guy. I knew a kid who trained 3 days a week and even when he did it was half assed and still made it the Grand Prix. Some people are just truly born that gifted, it’s unfair but that’s how life is. I had to accept the fact that while I was still a good swimmer being top 5 in my state, no matter how hard I worked I couldn’t beat two of the kids on my team who rarely trained hard and won state titles and went to nationals. Truly how the cookie crumbles.

    Our God is sooooooo infinitely forever beyond amazing and awesome ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ He gave His only begotten Son for us. Do you know Jesus? It’s not too late. Please come home to Jesus. He is waiting with open arms. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

    15 yards is too long to allow underwater. Half the pool is enough.

      I basically agree. If Australian crawl is the de facto freestyle stroke, then require them to swim it for most of the race. If freestyle means absolutely any way of getting yourself up and down the pool, then hell, let them dolphin underwater as long as they can! (yes, I'm an old dude...SEC record holder who swam before all these high-falutin' changes in stroke and turn rules, designed to allow and promote faster times)
