I met Joe in real life a few years back. He gave me some damn great power lifting tips. Humble for someone who has always been larger than life. I told him of my personal struggles, he didn't scoff or act higher than me, he told me not to end up like the people I used to(and still do at times) admire that passed away. A true class act, and to be honest, I'd still rather be on his good side than bad. Even with age, you can tell you wouldn't want to piss him off.

I get why Animal is upset...but at the same time he and Hawk walked out on Vince twice. He's also not Shawn Michaels or Austin or Bret Hart by himself...and no one liked that LOD reboot in the mid 2000s. I think his brother, as big of of a tool as he is was probably trying to avoid telling him that in 2002 he wasn't worth what Animal thinks he was.

WWE seems to only bring people under contracts with for fan axxcess events , my take on this is the Road Warriors weren't WWE's creation they brought them in at there peak made some money let em go and brought them back for one last embarrsssing run basically jobbing them out ruining there worth to other FED's , they have a huge history of doing this to outside stars and I'm sure Vince has heat of some kind with them LOD came to the WWF only after they went every where else first even turning down offers from the WWF I'm sure it pissed Vince off . As you hear here they were ripping LOD off with there merch money .

Why has Animal not been invited by the WWE to work Fan Axxess? Answer: the WWE has not had any tag team become as popular as the Road Warriors were and still are. Believe it or not, Vince takes that SERIOUSLY.
According to this interview, I think it's more a family thing. Animal clearly said that the money issue created friction between him and his brother, who was in charge of talent relations and booking this type of events. I don't think Vince is to blame, after all he allowed Animal to have merch (like a dvd set), a second run as a wrestler, and to be inducted into the HOF.

I loved the Road Warriors but in all honesty how much wrestling could Joe teach anybody. Those guys were useless if you took them off their feet. I'd think that Greg Gagne could teach more than Animal or Hawk could - and I respect those guy's carreers just not their wrestling skills.
It's actually pretty simple why were didn't ask animal to do any of this, his brother black balled him, plane and simple, proof being look at some of those the WWE hired to do these things, 90% never main evented a card their entire career, most of the trainers are very poor wrestlers most actually quit wrestling for the fact they couldn't carry out an arm drag or back flip, or couldn't work the mic, hmm yet they are training the newbies, it's your brother animal
