Lia you are a social butterfly!! You need to be around people and you actually seem to flourish in chaotic London!! I have noticed that u seem the to light up when you are around people!! I suggest u move back to London sweetheart!! Cheers from Texas!!
Lia I have left home( Vermont,US)when I was 18 moved to South FL that was such a change.I new no one I was a small town girl now living in such a different world.change is hard but its good & helps u to grow .we moved in 2005 to East TN this another big change as well.its funny each state in the US is like another country.here its still remembering the civil war because it was huge here.so I want to tell u yes it's hard leaving but its also worth it.I get ur social butterfly but for now ur life is about learning to explore new things & doing things u thought u never would.maybe in the near future u & Ach will get married start a family then that will be a whole new chapter ur life.I love watching u & Ach together & how happy u r.yes u get tired but for now its worth it.maybe in the future when u have enough money u get a place in London so when u have a long day there u have a place to crash & do a few things before going back home.just a thought love ya & I get it but ur still so very young & have so much time to do everything u want
“And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears (Mark Anthony)” You got this Lia,
Lia I like the fact that you showed us your day in London and spending time at home without social media I think it is very important to have time without the distraction of social media and just be with friends and family, it was good see Joel on your channel, can not wait to see the secret that you shot in London, hopefully soon.Hope you enjoyed your day in London.
I love how you edited this vlog. It was candid and confessional and I like how you started and ended the same way, as if the events in between were a memory you were recollecting in this "present" moment.
Great vlog Lia!!!! I think you’ve made the right decision to leave London. Coming home to a man who has dinner ready for you and turns his phone off for you is worth it. Good guys are hard to find. ❤️🥰❤️
I’m Not usually one to post a comment, but I love your personal vlogs, and Joel &Lia. Because of your vlogs, I actually got my husband to pick up some prosseco to try- so excited! Sorry you’ve been having a rough day(days), but you’re not alone. Love your bubbly personality and positive attitude even during days like this. 💕 a viewer from 🇺🇸
I absolutely adore your vlogs Lia! This one is particularly touching. You're just amazing. And I'm having afternoon prosecco whilst watching. I'll raise a glass to you! Keep these coming! Thanks! L&C 👍 ♥️😘 🇬🇧
Relocating is difficult and it takes time to adjust. I'm still getting used to it after a year! I'm sure those train rides can be tiring after your long days. It's ok to be sad sometimes, as long as the positives win overall. 💕
I absolutely love your vlogs. We came close to relocating to another state a couple of years ago, but we backed out. We're in a good place now and it seems to have been a good decision for us. But at the time we were considering the move, I was terrified to make such a change. Maybe someday if the need arises. You are brave to open yourself up like this to new challenges.
Husband and I are both from small towns but now live in Austin, TX and have for years. Can't really imagine not having the conveniences of living in a city, but we both do think about living in a small village or even in the country in the middle of nowhere sometimes. Change is always hard but you get used to it over time and luckily for you, London is only a train ride away, unlike the 9-hour plane ride it is for us!
I feel so close to you when I watch your vlogs, it’s great! And I feel you. I think it’s good for you to vent it out your feelings, and time will show you the fruits and the misses of your choice, then you will be able to adjust. I wish you the best! 🌷
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the *raw, unedited* footage of u coming across Joel, your face mask, etc.‼️ AND, the filming outta your, (taxi ride), window! Love, love🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
Since the video was up loaded is it safe to say you made it home alright. Missed you on Friday when I watched Joel’s video. Loved the two tops you had bought at Primark. Saw you in them in Joel’s video. Great choices
What an informative and interesting vlog today. Lia, I always say that you are a thoughtful person and you proved me right again today. It was so nice of you to go back to your friend's place and tidy up before you left! I can relate to you with having lived in a big city and enjoyed all the conveniences available. Living out in the suburbs can be less hectic and cheaper but also boring sometimes! LOL! Thanks for making my day! As always, take care and Happy Travels! ♥️🇬🇧🇺🇸
Sweet girl, be kind to yourself. You have undergone a lot of changes in your life. It will all work out easier as you get accustomed to it. You are doing it well. Just take time to do self care and breathe. So very proud of you. 🐝😊😊xx
Lia. I lived in Dubai for 18 years since birth. I moved to Canada to start a new life, was alone. It felt very weird at times cause things were radically different. I did things I never did before, I saw things I didn’t know existed. Yes I did have excitement for this new change, but I wasn’t prepared for the unknowns. So yeah, I can understand. Wish you the very best :)
My childhood boyfriend wanted me to live in Canada from London but I think it's a bit to late in life now...always think it would be hard getting a job and the cold is much colder in Canada....I'm sure it's nice.
I love seeing the streets of London when you Vlog. Or anywhere else you Vlog from. It feels like we're all hanging out with you from the comfort of our spaces. Thanks Lia! =)
I remember going through a lot of changes in my late 20’s. It’s really an amazing time in life. I enjoyed your sharing. As far as city versus the suburbs , home is where your heart ❤️ is. Change is inevitable and I think you seem to be doing great. 😊💕
I watch Joel and Lia plus your individual videos and bust out laughing sometimes in public. Really embarrass myself sometimes, lol! Great video Lia. Life comes with giving up some things to receive other things; always a trade-off so it is normal to feel torn sometimes. I feel the same many times. Bet having dinner ready for you when you walked in, a nice movie and cuddle made up for it:) Have a great week!
I love your vlogs! You are so honest and genuine. I sure hope you get a big acting break soon. But then I would miss your vlogs both on your own and with Joel. ❤🥰
My husband is sleeping next to me and I'm watching a load of Joel and Lia and finding it hard to keep in the laughs! If I ever feel down, I just need to watch a Joel and Lia video and it makes my day. Your Nancy video made me laugh so much too!!
I hope you did make it home safely. I felt like you when I first moved from Queens, NY out to the suburbs, an hour’s drive away from family and friends. However, my quality of life is really much better where I am now. Of course I found a job out here so I didn’t have to travel weekly like you do. You’re lucky you have a wonderful man who cooks you dinner when you get home after a long day. Good luck with your acting jobs! 👍🏻❤️
Love your videos with you and Joel, and your video by yourself to. What I take is Joel is your bff. And your man Is easy on the eyes to look at when he is shirtless. Huba huba! I hope you do more with him!
Every time we move from one place to another it makes a change in our lifestyle. There is always some sort of adjustment period. Usually it's simply a matter of time to adjust to the changes in your life. Wait for a year to go by and if you still feel the way you do on this video then you might want to consider moving closer to London. Also I'm curious as to how safe are the trains late at night? Your video kind of made the worried mother come out in me. Thanks for sharing your week with us.
Hi,I'm from Central London and I always wonder if I ever had to relocate how I would feel...as long as they are shops and entertainment I guess I will be ok...but in time you will get use to it enjoy Manchester.
I moved out of a town I lived in for a long time, and although I know the new town makes a lot of sense, whenever I drive by the former hometown, I stop to put gas in the car, or grab a snack, or stop in to a shop there, because it feel so comfortable. Natural to miss where you lived before and made a good life.
I agree Mike. I mean we all love Lia or we wouldn't be watching her vlog, but this guy is funny, shares in the housework, is supportive of her career and of her in general, and seems on top of his and her game. I really wish the best for the two of them, individually and as a couple. ❤️
Thanks Lia! I bet you're happy to be home after California and Nevada! Still hot over here, perhaps in September we will get a break from the heat. Your vlog was very nice and thanks for sharing. Your friend in New Mexico, Kim.
@@liahatz Nice I'm really looking forward to some cool weather--Some time!!😊 Hopefully by September as I have a trip planned to Scottsdale Arizona then. And Phoenix is usually 15 to 20 degrees hotter than us in New Mexico, due to their low altitude. Really enjoyed your vlogs from California and now back in Great Britain. You have such a calm and quieting effect on me. I just love to hear you talk. Anyway better go for now. Your friend, Kim. 😊
I feel for you, you are breaking out and the secure parts of your life seem far away - you can do it and be the star you are meant to be. You are a Brit but you have been to Texas and it has given you the inner strength you need. Go out and be the most you can be. Bobby from San Antonio
@@liahatz You don't know how much you saying Bobby means. Been a Robert from birth but friends and family call me Bobby - so you are family! So when you return to San Antonio, I will show you the best places to eat - not the downtown touristy spots. Have a great weekend - it is 102F here but the AC is blasting, HA!
I love London and I can imagine how you feel. But, with all of that being said. This is a new venture for you and it is better to be missing it than saying "Oh thank god I'm out of there!" Nothing is saying you will not go back and I did not realize how far out you are. It is almost like where we lived in "upstate New York". We were just about 1.5 hours from NYC. Good luck with the audition!!
Good luck with your acting job!! It takes time to fully adjust to living somewhere different but I think that you're doing great and better than I would with your busy schedule.
I want you so badly to be on a TV show both in the UK and the US, so even more people can enjoy your great humour! Of course I would greatly miss Joel and Lia and your personal channel, but I would take that trade to see you hit superstardom on TV , and then on to the movies! :-) Break a leg!
I shamelessly laugh out loud watching you and Joel. My parents even know who you are because they want to know what’s so funny. Although my dad gets Joel’s name wrong. He says Joe & Lia every time. Xx
I would have to agree. To be honest it probably sounds ridiculous to my American followers as it is only a 3 hour round trip, we Brits just can’t handle it
Leo, much the same by me. I agree. To Lia, no worries. Oh, I forgort to mention, as I've heard said, to a Merkin, a 100 years is a long time away, as to a Brit, a hundred miles is long ways away. I hope you see the irony in it.
Lia Hatzakis Commuting is such a bummer no matter how long. One time I had to commute 10 hours round trip. Yuckola. 5 miles there. Stay up there during the week. 5 hours home for the weekend. Now I just commute 2 hours a day. Lol.
Lia, best thing for acne, Clindamycin phosphate lotion 1% and a low dosage retin "A" cream. Promise!!! After years of dealing with it and wasting money on expensive over the counter stuff, I finally went to the dermatologist and got it!!! Best desicion ever!!!👍❤
I have been happy with my past relocations. But now, sometimes I feel like I want to move out of town to get away from the hustle and bustle. (You can laugh...my town only has 56k population and our 3 really close neighbouring towns only brings it up to about 66k) But then I think about what I would have to go through to get to work every day and to all the conveniences that are built into living in town...😫... So I don't think I would like living too far out. Chin up Lia! I'm sure you will acclimate. We are here for you to listen and help when we can.
Was that Saffron who's going to be on Strictly?? Love your vlog of course, I'm just nosey so I had to ask about you saying Saff at the shoot 😂 Maybe you'll be on Strictly next year!!!!!
Move back to London. It's where all your appointments and opportunities seem to be. I used to commute 1.5 to 2 hours each way to work. It really wears you down after a while. Take care of yourself, Lia.
Maybe I'm odd but I live in London and I'm often thinking about the time when I go out, although perhaps that's because I live in the suburbs and can't afford a Taxi to take me all the way home and night buses are a pain if the route isn't near your house. I think Lia lived pretty close to central London so would have a load more options. Still the savings would be more than worth it unless you were going to London thrice weekly.
You've come to a fork in the road in your life. You're trying to walk down both paths. The longer you try the wider those paths are going to get and the more it's going to take a toll on you. Eventually you'll have to make a decision between being a country home wife or a savy London Actress/blogger. Either choice, it's a good life so chin up about that. But if you ask me...When I saw Joel pop into this video and seeing you around London working it I definitely could feel and see a higher buzz of happiness. The ultimate win for you would be to get your bf to move back to London with you and find other means of employeement there. He certainly seems very capable. Lucky guy btw!
I just wanted to let you know that I do laugh out loud when watching Joel & Lia. Like, that time you had such horrible service at White Castle, or the other one when you fell flat on your bum! You guys are quite entertaining! 👍👍😎
WOW. At 4:59 and on you look just perfect and beautiful. Makeup hair everything is just perfect and beautiful. LOVE seeing you like that. Just beautiful.
I also miss London. I miss my friends (Greek and not), I miss the smell of humidity, the overcrowded streets, Shoreditch, Camden town, wood green, the underground! I feel so sorry that you feel like that but imagine that you are living with your boyfriend and it is really nice to live with someone you love and not alone. Just saw the Walkers. I felt the need to send you Lays with oregano. First time, I saw them and I was like “oh dark green color” and I thought it was with oregano. But not.
Lia is so attractive in this opening pose. She’s beautiful. The lighting and make up in that train scene at the start of this video: she should do this again.
Hi Lia, I didn't know you "Acted!" Did you and Joel, meet because of that? I Watch "Joel & Lia" and both of your personal channels and I don't recall You or Joel, explaining how you both met! How funny "Suri" has a British Accent! Blessings from Oklahoma, Piper
This video was really well done. I liked how you started and ended in the train. There are pros and cons to both city life and country life. I think you said you're in Chichester? Have you ever done a vlog of that area? Would love to see it.
Lia, the first thing was asking you & Joel to react to videos from the channel Jollibee Studios. They have a lot of extended commercials that cover different things during the year like Valentines Day and events like weddings but be sure to have tissues as they can easily bring tears to us women and even to men. Some have 2 parts like Crush that ends and Homecoming is separate and picks up where Crush ends but some are only 1 part like Choice. If you watch any of the commercials & don't understand anything the people in the comments will explain. My info was that Britain doesn't have saltines like the Premium you picked up in the store but didn't like. Our stores don't carry the cream crackers you are use to but they are available online at Walmart.com and Ebay so if you come back to America for long enough & if there is somebody to accept delivery where you are going they could be waiting when you arrive.
I have a feeling I am going to be having those emotions soon. I'm having to move out of my current rental, put everything in storage, and stay with my daughter for a month or so until I can find a new place. She lives in a small town/suburb of my hometown, so I won't be in my element for a while.
I miss London too... but I'll be there on Wednesday for a stay, so yay for that. 😊 Pro-tip: Never live in a place that you can lock yourself into. The horror film is already half-written. 😜
UM, can we have an entire video of your bf shirtless please? Lucky girl.... And of course we love you too!! Hope you're feeling better. I lived in NYC for a decade and it was hard when I moved back to my home state in the suburbs of Washington DC. It was difficult at first, but my quality of life is so much better and I was able to afford many more little luxuries. I'm sure you'll get there in time. Much love!
I'm not surprised you miss London - you have such a busy and active life here - to suddenly remove yourself to some provincial town so far away. You're not 75. "saving money" - what for, your retirement? When you come back you'll appreciate it all the more.
Lia, Why don't you and Ash move a bit closer to London. A two hour, one-way commute is not sustainable. No rush to make a change, but consider meeting half-way. There is always a trade off ... housing cost, commute cost, peace of mind. Best wishes.
We really like it here. I’ve looked into commuter towns closer to London and you don’t get that same quality of life, close to the sea, amazing community and people. if we found the right place we would XX Thanks b x
Lived in a small town most of my life, when I was young all I wanted to do was get out of here & I did for awhile. I came to realize, " you can't take the country out of the boy ", just like you can't take the city out of the girl, ( if you know what I mean jelly bean )! It's a matter of balance, priority & convenience, ( only you know the sweet spot ) Don't sweat the small stuff & you'll be fine! Peace & Love🤗❤🥀

Lol.
Lia, your channel is one my top favourites, you soothe my London missing
Thank you for taking us Lia...so fun!
Every time u say "Hey Google" in your videos, mine beeps ready to listen 😂
Same! LoL
Great opening to the video, set the vibe. ❤️
I’ve recently got myself a low dosage of Retin A so I’m looking forward to the results xx
Lia, aww you're so down lately. I'm worried about you! 😕😘
Can't wait till you're in something we can all watch on hulu! 😄🇺🇸💕
Was that Saffron who's going to be on Strictly?? Love your vlog of course, I'm just nosey so I had to ask about you saying Saff at the shoot 😂 Maybe you'll be on Strictly next year!!!!!
I wasn't expecting Saffron to appear in your photoshoot! I'm intrigued to find out what it is.
We are contractually not meant to talk about any details until September so you’ll find out then xx 💛 thanks for watching
Wow, looking so pretty in your 'base makeup' 💞
Move back to London. It's where all your appointments and opportunities seem to be. I used to commute 1.5 to 2 hours each way to work. It really wears you down after a while. Take care of yourself, Lia.
I lived in Charlton with my Nan for awhile and omg no I went back to the city after 4 months.
Lia I wish my face looked as good as yours without makeup. You are a natural beauty inside and out. Ash is the lucky one.
I tell everyone to watch both you and joel. My joel and lia love is not unknown amongst my people. Lol
I’m usually there once maybe twice a week max. I really like where I live now I just wish it was a tiny bit closer but you can’t have it all!
Awww dinner on the table and Mrs Doubtfire on the TV, bless your new boyf
It's worth remembering that when I'm at work in London it is my job to be more switched on and happier x
I just wanted to let you know that I do laugh out loud when watching Joel & Lia. Like, that time you had such horrible service at White Castle, or the other one when you fell flat on your bum! You guys are quite entertaining! 👍👍😎
congratulations on being miss london!
Lia, I Relish watching your videos, it's good to watch me when I put my feet up. I can't wait video you upload Joel and Lia English.
Warm Lia.
London misses you! 💛
Love you, Lia💕! Yeah...
You are strong, smart and beautiful. You can do anything you put your mind to.
Thank you John
I felt your feelings Lia I started crying not lying
Oh no. Sorry xx
Lia Hatzakis it’s cool because that’s how I felt when I moved to Texas from Kentucky it was an amazing video 😊
That's how I felt when I moved TO Kentucky. Lol
That man’s a keeper, Lia!!
WOW. At 4:59 and on you look just perfect and beautiful. Makeup hair everything is just perfect and beautiful. LOVE seeing you like that. Just beautiful.
Change is hard to get into a new rythm and all. Sending hugs
But not.
I’m the only Greek not to like rigani 😭 hahah
Noooo way!!!!!
What color lipstick is that?! So pretty!
It should be linked up in my description babes. Is it showing up for you? x
Achi knows exactly what he's doing when he wanders in-frame without his shirt on. Such a show off.
😂
Oh Lia you were exhausted!
Yes. We laugh out loud when watching J&L in public =)
Lia is so attractive in this opening pose. She’s beautiful. The lighting and make up in that train scene at the start of this video: she should do this again.
As long Achi loves you and you are happy with everything, you are ok, Lea. On your days off, you take care of Lea.
I like to think that as long as she loves herself everything else is a bonus! 😃
ISITVAINTOSAYIMPRETTY of course
I love your videos! Make up or not, you're so pretty. 😊
Redwood - don't you know her nose surgery, was not for cosmetic purposes, but rather to breath well? Am I wrong in that?
Red Wood Backhanded compliment 😲😐
Hi Lia, I didn't know you "Acted!" Did you and Joel, meet because of that? I Watch "Joel & Lia" and both of your personal channels and I don't recall You or Joel, explaining how you both met! How funny "Suri" has a British Accent!
Blessings from Oklahoma,
Piper
Funny to watch this since I am exactly where you were walking through, Islington, London
Small world!!
I miss London so hard I’m crying every day
It would be amazing if the show is picked up
For all it's faults, London is a wonderful, vibrant city!!!
This video was really well done. I liked how you started and ended in the train. There are pros and cons to both city life and country life. I think you said you're in Chichester? Have you ever done a vlog of that area? Would love to see it.
Thanks Dorothy xx yeah I still need to do an actual vlog of my neighbourhood
I may be dense, but how does one lock oneself "in" a house? I can understand being locked "out" of a house, but in?
Dodgy lock and door
I have a feeling I am going to be having those emotions soon. I'm having to move out of my current rental, put everything in storage, and stay with my daughter for a month or so until I can find a new place. She lives in a small town/suburb of my hometown, so I won't be in my element for a while.
I miss London too... but I'll be there on Wednesday for a stay, so yay for that. 😊
Pro-tip: Never live in a place that you can lock yourself into. The horror film is already half-written. 😜
That meal! What a cook!
We do hello fresh meals! Link in bio 💁🏻♀️💛
Much love!
Time out. Time out. Who is your little blonde friend with the glasses at the shoot? Cutie pie.
Awww it’s Saffron Barker! Surprised you haven’t heard of her (youtuber)
I'm not surprised you miss London - you have such a busy and active life here - to suddenly remove yourself to some provincial town so far away. You're not 75. "saving money" - what for, your retirement? When you come back you'll appreciate it all the more.
Saving to buy a house x
@@liahatz Oh, I see...x
Lia,
Why don't you and Ash move a bit closer to London. A two hour, one-way commute is not sustainable. No rush to make a change, but consider meeting half-way. There is always a trade off ... housing cost, commute cost, peace of mind.
Best wishes.
We really like it here. I’ve looked into commuter towns closer to London and you don’t get that same quality of life, close to the sea, amazing community and people. if we found the right place we would XX
Thanks b x
Good luck I hope you get it
London misses you
I'm exhausted just watching you!
LOL!
@@amandamakesstuff1383 Girrrrrrrrrl, most people go were their job or significant other takes them. To live were your heart resides, is a conscience decision!
